Capítulo 8: Yone's First C-Rank Mission
Sakumo recovered as he didn't see Yone in the room only the Hokage as he looked into his crystal ball asking, "Where did the boy go?"
"He went to do his missions he is already on his way back," says Hiruzen as he was spying on Yone.
"Wait, how long was I out?" asks Sakumo as Hiruzen wanted to prank Sakumo as he only lifted three fingers.
"Three days?" asks Sakumo as Hiruzen shakes his head.
"Three months," says Hiruzen with his Pokerface seeing Sakumo fall in shock as he began to laugh out loud and says, "I was just joking but was only thirty minutes since Yone left."
"Wait he finished his mission already?" asks Sakumo as Hiruzen nods.
"To be honest he finished seven of the nine missions already. He is already on the level of a Jonin if you ask me," says Hiruzen from watching Yone.
"Why haven't we made him a Genin earlier then?" asks Sakumo as Hiruzen looked at him seriously.
"It's because of the clans. Many including the Senju Clan were pressuring me not to let him graduate the only one pressuring me to let him graduate was the Uzumaki Clan but he graduated and I still was pressured to hold him down when suddenly his teacher appeared and told me to make him a Chunin directly," says Hiruzen seriously.
"And his teacher is?" asks Sakumo making Hiruzen nervous as he looked at the teacup resting on his desk.
"Someone that is too strong to offend. You will know what I mean when you try to lift that teacup up," says Hiruzen as Sakumo seemed confused as he tried to pick it up only to find out that it wasn't moving at all.
"Is it glued to the desk?" asks Sakumo as Hiruzen shakes his head.
"No, but Yone's master could pick it up and even drink from it easily. Now you should know what a monster his teacher was. You shouldn't underestimate Yone since he learned from that man," says Hiruzen warning Sakumo.
"He was that strong?" asks Sakumo when Hiruzen nods.
"He put me in a Genjutsu without me noticing. Or at least I hope it was a Senjutsu because if it wasn't then he is on a level we all can't imagine being on," says Hiruzen as two Yone enter the office.
"We are done. Oh, captain, you are back," says Yone as he looked at Sakumo.
"Yone go easy on Sakumo. You are his first team," says Hiruzen as Yone nods.
"I'm ready for the C-Rank mission," says Yone as Sakumo sighs.
"How about you let your captain rest for today? He had to stomach this much information in one go," says Hiruzen as Yone looked at Sakumo and nods in agreement.
"You are right Hokage-sama," says Yone as Sakumo sighs in relief.
"Yone how about we spend some time today to know each other better," says Sakumo as Yone nods because he needed to trust his captain and his team captain needed to trust him or their mission would fail.
"Where are we going?" asks Yone as Sakumo smiled.
"Akimichi's Barbecue, it's a restaurant owned by the Akimichi Clan. We get a table and eat a bit of meat while talking and finding things out about each other," says Sakumo as Yone nods.
"Let's go then," says Yone with a smile.
Sakumo lead the way as both left the office and Hiruzen seemed quite done for today and not from his usual enemy the paperwork but Yone as he looked at some C-Rank mission.
Yone was eating together with Sakumo while many were staring at them when Sakumo says, "Well, I can see why you have a grudge against all the clans."
"It's not really a grudge. But if they one day need my help they should forget it since I will only help those that I think are important to me," says Yone as he eats the meat he barbecued.
"Do I belong on that list?" asks Sakumo as Yone looked at him.
"For now yes. You didn't stare at me like them even once. Not even before we knew each other so. My granduncle was a bastard that hated me just because I was different while my grandfather pulled me aside the day before he died and told me to never give up," says Yone as Sakumo seemed to see in which environment he was living.
"Good to know so your parents treat you right?" asks Sakumo as Yone nods.
"They are my parents even when I know that I'm adopted since I'm six. They treat me like I'm their firstborn because I am me. If I wasn't I then they wouldn't have raised me as they did," says Yone as he loves his parents.
"What about you captain do you have someone you love in your life?" asks Yone as Sakumo was rubbing his right cheek with one finger.
"Well, I haven't found the right woman yet," says Sakumo as Yone looked confused while putting another piece of meat into his mouth.
They ate together for a while before Sakumo says, "Tomorrow will be your first C-Rank mission so we should finish for today."
"Yes, captain," says Yone as Sakumo petted his head after paying the bill.
They split up as Yone went into a shop to buy some scrolls to store some kunais, shuriken, and many other things. He bought three scrolls, 20 Shurikens, 10 three-bladed Kunais, and some ration pills that would allow him to survive a month on the road.
He tested one and says, "I will have to create my own once I have time those tastes disgusting."
He returned home and found the family working when Horirama asks, "How was your day?"
"It was nice. I finished nine missions today and tomorrow I will do the C-Rank mission with my captain," says Yone as Horirama was quite proud to call this little monster his son.
They notice the three new scrolls and Hana asks, "Did you buy those today?"
Yone nods and says, "I bought them with some Shurikens and those Kunais."
"Those Kunais are good they stick easier on things you won't have to worry that they fall after hitting the mark," says Horirama looking at the Kunais his son bought.
"But I still have to modify them," says Yone confusing his parents.
"Modify?" asks Hana as Yone took the Kunai his father was holding and made a Senju symbol on it with dark red color.
Then he throws it towards the courtyard and Yone disappears from the living room and appears in the courtyard grabbing the kunai he threw out.
"That is the-," says Hana not believing her eyes when Horirama finishes her sentence, "Flying Thunder God Jutsu."
"Yes, my teacher taught it to me said it was a C-Rank crap that anyone could use once you comprehend how it works," says Yone as he put his Kunai on the inside of the coat as he had five shuriken's and now 2 kunais on the inside.
They were there for every situation since he couldn't just pull his scroll out and take them out in an emergency it would take too long.
"I ate dinner with the captain so I will go to sleep so we can leave in the morning after accepting the mission," says Yone as he hugged both of his parents before leaving for his room.
Once there he began to modify all ten kunais before putting a mark on the floor so he could always return home. Then he went to sleep.
The next morning Yone left for the Hokage's Office quite early as he wanted to start the mission as early as possible.
The office was still closed so he stood on the roof swinging the wooden sword that he has inside one of his scrolls until the office opened.
He stored it again as he rushed to the office. Hiruzen was already awaiting him since Yone was too excited about it yesterday.
"Well, then Yone I have three missions that I picked up for you. Every one of them is as difficult as the other. Chose one of them," says Hiruzen as Yone picked one up.
"Escorting Merchant Jin from the Land of Hot Water to the border of the Land of Wind. There Suna Ninjas will take over and we are done," says Yone readying the mission.
"Yes, but be careful of the Kumo and Sune Ninjas. You will get the man from Kumo Ninjas and they aren't known to be gentle towards us. They could try to kill the person just to make us look bad," says Hiruzen as Yone nods.
"You should meet with Sakumo," says Hiruzen as Yone nods.
Yone moves out as he waits for his captain in front of the building when Sakumo arrives and says, "Did you already accept the mission?"
"Yes, we are going on an escort mission. We have to escort a merchant from the Land of Hot Water to the Land of Wind. The Hokage said we should be careful about Kumo but I already have a plan against them," says Yone as he smiled at his captain.
"Well then let us begin then. We should be there before Kumo or they might get annoyed," says Sakumo as Yone nods and both begin to move.
They leave through the gate and Sakumo could go full speed since Yone seemed to be able to follow his rhythm. They took three days to arrive there and Yone was sweating a bit like Sakumo as they had to walk like normal people entering the Hot Water territory.
"Are we there?" asks Yone exhausted as Sakumo nods.
"Yes, let us get into an inn and rest. The others will need a day or two as well," says Sakumo as they didn't use chakra from the moment they entered the Land of Hot Water.
They are together as the transformation jutsu made them look like father and son and slept in the same room. They waited while Yone used shadow clones and transformed them into birds so they could spy the entrance to the village.
They knew how Merchant Jin looked like and Yone just needed to grab him and Sakumo. Yone already sent a clone of himself with a kunai of his to the border of Suna.
Two days passed and the clones reported the arrival of the Merchant escorted by three people making Yone say to Sakumo who was evaluating Yone's skill, "They are here. They just passed the gates."
"Good we should meet them right away," says Sakumo as he stood up.
"We are being watched," says Yone as Sakumo knew that too.
"Good you noticed it too. It must be Ninjas of Yugakure. We must have gathered their attention because we only stayed in the Inn. Let us grab the merchant and disappear," says Sakumo as Yone nods.
They leave the Inn after paying their bill as they went to the Inn that Yone was leading them. Once there they sit down across the five people and Sakumo says, "Merchant Jin we came to bring you away."
"Ah, you must be the people to escort me to the border of Suna," says Jin as he was a middle-aged man with short black hair and brown eyes.
"That's right," says Sakumo as the Kumo Ninjas laughed seeing only two people and one of them being a child.
"Can't Konoha send more people," says the Kumo Ninja taunting when Sakumo smiled.
"Yone now," says Sakumo as Yone grabbed Merchant Jin while Sakumo was holding Yone as all three disappeared when suddenly 30 Yugakure Ninjas stormed the Inn.
"It seems three of them could escape," says one of the Yugakure Ninjas.
"That doesn't matter we have four of them. Take them to the village," says the captain of them as the Ninjas nod and take the four Kumo Ninjas with them.
At the border to the Land of Wind. It seemed Suna Ninjas were camping there for a long time as when Sakumo and Yone appeared they were surprised.
Yone takes his Kunai from the tree as Sakumo and Merchant Jin were feeling sick since the Flying Thunder God Jutsu was not for everyone.
"We are at the destination, Merchant Jin. Yone was someone that didn't want you to travel 2 weeks on the road since you had already enough from traveling from the Land of Lightning to the Land of Hot Water," says Sakumo disguising what really happened.
"I can appreciate it since it really saved me a lot of time," says Jin as he bowed before crossing the border when four Suna Ninjas took care from that moment on.
Yone and Sakumo then disappeared again as Sakumo felt less sick than the first time as he petted Yone's head and says, "We will report it tomorrow or will you do it?"
"I will wait this time," says Yone as they were in his room.
"So this is your room," says Sakumo as it seems quite ordinary when he saw two pictures of Yone's family and how happy everyone looked at it.
"Those were taken when grandfather was still alive and the other when Nawaki was 5 years old," says Yone as Sakumo smiled at his student.
"Well I should leave before your family notices," says Sakumo as he left by using a substitute jutsu that created a leaf instead of a lock of wood.
