Chapter 65 — Level 0
Not only Rokurome underwent a substantial change, as Jason, too, managed to reach Level 0. It allowed him to be free from shackles, his body now vastly different compared to before.
In the blank dark space, the concept of time flowed much faster than reality. Jason felt he was inside there for hundreds of years. And during that time, he spent most of his time beating the two SINS into submission. He honed his blade, the shape of his mind, against the two SINS everyday.
He meditated when he felt exhausted and couldn't gain the upper hand. Each second, he was focused on sharpening his mind and self-control. The spiritual body was similar to his real physical body, allowing to continue improving his bodily control with much greater efficiency.
Jason was now able to exert his mind to control his hormones and other glands. He could also control his blood channels and heart. It was the same for his other organs as well.
His control over his own body reached perfection, yet it proved to faraway from being like God.
As his body was now fully unsealed, he was now brimming with inhuman power that didn't stop growing. It continued to evolve everyday. Jason felt he could tear a Gauna apart with ease.
The Evol Reactor also evolved, transforming significantly to the point of immediately completing the force circuits in his head. The circuits were now inputted throughout his entire body, extending to each and every cell.
As the circuit reached his brain, Jason felt that the usage of Thought Acceleration was less draining and more easier to use than in the past. After all, the force circuits maximized efficiency. And it was impossible to measure the maximum acceleration, Jason defining it as indefinite acceleration.
Additionally, Jason felt something new inside his brain.
A unique power.
He looked at a workbench and pointed his hand at it. Soon, it started to mysteriously float in the air
Telekinetic Power.
This power was the byproduct of Jason's unsealed brain awakening the Evol Waves.
Jason created a black bullet using Particle Construct, wrapping his Evol Waves around the bullet to stop the particles from dispersing. He then stopped supplying it with energy, but amazingly, it continued to stay intact.
It floated above his palm, not dispersing back into the universe.
Jason smiled. He then waved his hand in front of him.
Bam!
The bullet flew at high-speed and slammed against the wall, shattering it easily. His long range-problem was resolved for now.
Satisfied, Jason returned home. He missed it.
As he slowly opened the door of the treehouse, Jason was greeted with the sight of Kobayashi that was currently naked with droplets of warm water trickling down her fair, tender skin.
"Ahem, I'm back…" Jason said awkwardly.
Kobayashi widened her eyes after seeing his familiar black hair. Moreover, she felt that he was truly Jason.
She ran toward him, and hugged him tightly. Her head burrowed deeply into his firm, broad chest.
"Welcome back, Pilot Jason," she greeted, raising her face with a small smile.
It has been several months.
Jason nodded blankly, but he felt his body heating up with her naked body pressing against him.
Her alluring smell assaulted his nose, causing him to wrap his arms around her bare shoulders. It felt smooth and slender, arousing the animal side of him.
Kobayashi flinched, feeling her stomach heating up as she felt something hard and swollen pressing against her bare stomach.
She tried to back away, but Jason just hugged her tightly.
Today, his eyes were quite different. It looked hungry and intense.
Imagined what it felt for Jason being stuck all alone inside that blank space for a supposed hundred of years.
That night was different from other nights in the past. It was especially filled with weird noises from strenuous skin-contact physical activity.

The preparation of Sidonia was almost complete. The construction of the supergiant Fusion Reactor was completed, now providing an inexhaustible energy for the entire Sidonia. Alongside it, the new offence and defensive systems were now ready to be used. Now, Sidonia was capable of deploying H-Field Barriers and shooting massive Higgs Cannon. The speed of its thrusters were also much faster.
The carriers and warships were also completed. As for the ship pilots', some had already graduated and were ready to be deployed.
The ship pilots' had lower thresholds than Guardian Pilots.
"Let's go, En," Jason said while wearing his sleek black pilot suit.
"Mmn!" En nodded seriously. Contrast to his black suit, she wore a completely pink pilot suit.
Jason entered Rokurome's cockpit. The cockpit looked new and felt more surreal than before. It also felt light and wider.
The control systems were more complex and had new instruments to control the new four sub-arms. Due to the new system, there were two coils at front of the cockpit and another two coils at the back.
At the same time, En's violet and pink Guardian Knight looked different from normal Guardian Knight. It looked more slender and feminine.
It was called Fortuna.
Both of the Knights were equipped with the prototype Cross Link System.
There was a recon mission for Planet Lem-IX today. And so, Jason requested for the command bridge to send them to test out the new improvements.
Kobayashi approved of his request. Now, they were about to head toward Planet Lem-IX. It was very far away, so in order to travel faster, they would ride the carrier toward Planet Lem-IX.
The carrier was much faster than a normal Guardian Knight, having special large thrusters that brought incredible speed.
The carrier was shaped like a huge spear that could open from both sides. It was stacked with rations, spare ammos, and spare weapons. It was even equipped with a cloaking system and a H-Field Barrier Generator.
To dock with the carrier, they would need to dock under the split four parts that will enclose later.
"This is the main core of the mission. As soon as you dock with the carrier, stealthily head to Planet Lem-IX. Survey the situation in the sector we can't observe from here. Once done, return to Sidonia at once!" Yuhata explained.
On the large screen, there was the Image of Planet Lem-IX and the route the mission will follow. The unobservable sector was just behind Planet Lem-IX. And it was like Planet Saturn, having a large ring composed of rocks around it. This meant that there was gravitational force around Planet Lem-IX.
And further beyond that point, there was the Large Mass Union Ship and Planet Lem-VII.
The Large Mass Union Ship was stationed just between the two planets.
"Roger!" Jason and En replied.
"The recon party is ready to lift off!" The assistants said.
Yuhata nodded, "Operation start!"
This mission held significant danger as there might be hidden danger in the unobservable sector. Moreover, there was a high chance that the Large Mass Union Ship had some spawns waiting in ambush.
But it proved to be the perfect chance to test out the new Rokurome.
The lift of Rokurome and Fortuna went to the acceleration tunnel. They soon launched out into space with incredible speed.
"High-Speed Carrier, Lightning Carrier, is ready for launching!"
"Firing the catapult!"
"Fire!"
The ship pilot activated the thrusters as the catapult launched it into space, releasing a huge burst of thick blue flames from behind it.
"On the way to the recon party," the ship pilot said as it quickly neared the two Knights.
"The carrier's here," said Jason after seeing the spear-like carrier quickly nearing them. It was indeed as fast as lightning, "Prepare for docking."
"Copy that!" En replied.
"Deploying Docks."
The carrier arrived between them, opening from four sides. It released handles under the split four parts for them to latch on.
Rokurome and Fortuna went under it and grabbed on the handle.
"Closing the docks."
The four parts closed along with them tightly. It released cloaking particles as it sped up by several folds.
"Docking was successful!" The ship pilot said to the command room, "Course: Planet Lem-IX! Maximum Speed!"
As time passed, they gradually neared the gigantic gas planet that was extremely far away from Sidonia.
"We're entering the target sector soon," Jason warned them, "Prepare yourselves."
"Roger!" En was quite nervous.
As they approached, Jason's other crimson eyes started to hurt painfully.
His heart also started to pound aggressively.
Behind Planet Lem-IX, hundreds of densely packed Gaunas were lying in ambush.
