Resumen
Ilona Black is the oldest daughter of the Pirate King. All her life, she's wanted to be a great pirate captain, just like her father. When she's finally given the chance, however, things go terribly wrong- Ilona's younger siblings have been captured and now it's up to her to get them back.
All hope seems lost until she happens to meet the wickedly handsome Prince Mason who is having his own bad luck. He has been promised to marry a princess who he is quite certain is evil. He has no way to escape the marriage but once he meets the beautiful pirate Captain he comes up with a plan that will help them both. He will marry the daughter of the cruel king who took Ilona's siblings.
They sail away and the plan seems perfect. Mason will escape the evil princess and Ilona will get her siblings back.
But what happens when they start to fall for each other and put their whole plan in jeopardy? And what if their ship never reaches its destination at all?

After reading My Once Handsome Husband I had to read this book too. I have loved following their story and seeing how their relationship will grow. Will definitely say one of my top favorite authors and stories I have read here. I do hope there will be more stories like this to follow ❤❤❤
I’m so enjoying The Prince and the Pirate. If you're all about adventure you have to read this book!! The characters, the story, the chemistry between key players, are all incredibly well written. As a reader I've been completely absorbed into the most wonderful world and can't wait to see what happens next! Seriously can't get enough!! ⭐️
This was a wonderful story! It is a second part of the first book and just as I said about the first one, I’m in love with this second book Erin knows how to write and how to keep her readers on edge. I fell in love with all the characters and I hope I will be able to keep enjoying her work❤️❤️❤️

After reading MOHH I had high hopes for this novel. And I am not disappointed! E.R. McLain has given us so much more than one could possibly hope for. Adventure, Romance, Pirates, Dragons and a deadly handsome Prince Mason who is so much more than meets the eye. Ilona and Mason's relationship is mesmerizing. E.R. McLain is by far the best author on this site. Her writing leaves nothing to be desired as she takes us for a journey. Thank you so much for continuing to write. ☺️
I adored My Once Handsome Husband, and I really wanted to love this book. The author can legit write, but things fell off a bit in this story. It started off really strong, but around the middle it got rocky. The plot judges one character for "putting everyone in danger", then the ML does the same thing. The ML is in a rush to kill the dragons that day, despite how much easier it would be if they just wait a day. Everyone is broken and bruised and magically better the next night. This could have been solved with the occasional "they rested a week". I just couldn't finish it when I hit the "FL suffers depression so ML can surprise her" ending, especially when both characters' growth was all about not keeping secrets.

I read My Once Handsome Husband and was super excited to find there was a sequel! I LOVE this book and am beyond psyched to read about Ilona and Mace. My only problem with this book is that I found it before it was completed - now I can't binge read the whole thing 😭😂 I love how the author writes, how her characters and the story develop, and the well-written dialogue. I told myself I wouldn't spend money on this app, but this book and My Once Handsome Husband are the exceptions to the rule! I devour these books and look forward the the new chapter posted each day - thank you author! Waiting multiple days for one chapter is excruciating for a binge-reader like me and I appreciate that this book updates every day 💛
