Capítulo 42: Chapter 42 They Come at You
"Well…" Nancy pretended to be puzzled, "Daniel is a neat freak. So did Chloe propose to live with him?"
"She must have seduced Daniel. Or how could he just accept it? That scheming bitch!" Sasha gritted her teeth in anger.
Every time she pictured Chloe was lying beside Daniel and staying close to him, the jealousy grew wildly that she felt the desire to kill.
Nancy glanced at Daniel's room, pondering meaningfully. After taking a look at the time, she left after reminding Sasha to take care of herself.
Sasha saw Nancy off, sad to let her go, "Nancy, you're so nice. Can we meet more often when you are not busy?"
Nancy started her car and nodded with a smile, "Of course."
After Sasha went back into the house, Nancy took out her cell phone and made a call.
"Last time you said the game was about to start. Why haven't you done anything?"
There came noises but no one spoke. Later, he hung up.
Nancy was confused. But the next second, she received a text message.
R: Tonight.
Seeing this, Nancy showed an evil smile, which seemed creepy on this dark night.
She was heading home but suddenly turned around to the hospital. She couldn't wait to find out what exciting drama would happen tonight.

There were only Chloe and Daniel in the ward. She asked for another bed from the nurse and slept next to him.
Daniel wasn't sleepy at all. He opened his eyes and asked, "You're awake, too?"
"Yes," Chloe sounded so sober, "I can't fall asleep somehow."
"A small chat?"
Daniel seemed to be moving on the bed, and Chloe instantly became nervous, "Don't move. At least when you get better."
"I feel a little uncomfortable."
Chloe got up, and adjusted the pillow for him, "Better?"
"Yes." Daniel nodded with a smile, "Why are your eyes so swollen?"
Chloe turned her head away, not wanting to talk about it, "I'm fine."
After lying down, she couldn't help but take out her phone and read the upset messages from Laura.
Laura remained so cold and harsh to her.
At this moment, the TV opposite Daniel and Chloe was suddenly turned on. A clear naked photo of Chloe was shown in detail. Nasty and disgusting.
"What, what the hell?" Chloe couldn't find her voice in a while.
She hurried to turn off the TV, nearly falling to the ground. But before she reached the TV, the photo was replaced by several words: Miss Chloe, the ruthless bitch! Your friend nearly committed suicide because of you. But you are living fucking well.
"Go find out who did this." Meanwhile, Daniel took out his cell phone to contact his assistant.
They were trying to ruin Chloe!
But who was behind this? It could be anyone. Thinking of this, Chloe got goosebumps.
Seeing Chloe looking scared, Daniel wished he could get off instantly and protect her in his arms. But he was too weak now. He balled his fist and said coldly, "Don't care about it. It's not real anyway."
Chloe retorted, "How did you know?"
"It's photoshop clearly. They want to humiliate you. Don't let them succeed."
But they already did. Chloe felt her brain was a total mess.
"They want to destroy me. But why? Did I offend someone unknowingly? The naked photo... did they post Lisa's photos before? Because she is my friend?"
If Lisa was hurt and nearly killed herself because of her. How could she ever forgive herself?
Suddenly, an abrupt phone ring came and startled Chloe.
"Yes," Daniel answered the call.
"Mr. Bruce, we found that someone hacked in the hospital's computer system just now. But we haven't got more information since the hacker is too capable. Do we need to turn to some computer genius? " Tyler asked.
"Computer genius? I know one!" Chloe answered at once.
Daniel gave Chloe a meaningful look, and then said to Tyler, "Go ask Alex if he found anything about the car last time."
After hanging up the phone, Daniel stared at Chloe who was focused on her phone, "I don't know you have a computer genius friend."
Chloe didn't pay much attention to him and just gave a perfunctory nod.
Her indifferent attitude somehow annoyed him. But he said nothing except observing her.
Once Chloe found the phone number, she made a call at once.
Instantly, it got through. "Chloe? I think it's nighttime for you. Why are you calling me? Miss me too much and can't sleep?"
Oh god. After hearing his voice, she realized how much she missed him!
Too many emotions flooded over her and it took her a long time to find her voice, "K, I need your help."
K immediately became serious when he heard Chloe's voice, "Tell me, who the hell dared to hurt you?"
"Someone deliberately faked a nude photo of me and sent it to the TV in the hospital. And I don't know if he only hacked in the TV in our ward or the whole hospital… "
Chloe couldn't help but cry out.
She once thought she could handle everything well calmly. But the reality showed her otherwise. And she had to get K involved in her mess again.
In her previous life, K's reputation was ruined because of her. So since then, she had never dared to contact him due to guilt. But now, she had to trouble him again.
K turned on his computer and located Chloe at once. "The hacker is really disgusting. Unluckily, you are right about it. The photo could be seen everywhere in the hospital. So it's better if you don't go out and stay in the ward for the next few days."
Chloe froze for a long time without responding, still digesting his words.
"Chloe, someone's coming at you."
