The duke could only pull Leonor closer when their lips met. 

One hand went to the back of her head while the other held onto her waist and directed her so she was sitting on his outstretched legs. Her legs went over his right leg as she settled into his lap. 

Each time a kiss was broken, one began again. They fell into old habits of not getting enough of the other person. 

Leonor knew he must be able to feel her heart as it pounded away and tried to join his in his chest. It made her feel dizzy to enjoy a kiss with someone to such an extent. 

More, more, more, her body cried to her and she responded by holding him tighter and kissing him more fervently even if it made her breathless.

She was the one who started the kiss, but it was Desmond who took the lead just as before. All pretenses of nervousness dissipated and he remembered how passionate she made him feel.
