It might be the first time in years that Ikuto and Izuku were walking together to school.
After entering middle school Ikuto stopped associating with Izuku in public, ignoring him like he is some kind of plague. However, things were bound to change now that someone else had taken Ikuto's place.
The duo reached UA in no time, and it was still fifteen minutes for the entrance exam to begin.
"You go ahead, I will buy myself some milk," Ikuto urged since he knew there was an exchange about to happen between his brother and his potential girlfriend.
Izuku nodded wordlessly and stepped inside the school gates while Ikuto remained away, standing at his place and looking at the sky.
He was prepared for UA and had the confidence to enroll in the hero course. But whose place he would take? And will his presence diverge the plot for the worse?
'Well, not like I can do anything about it...' He was sent here with these powers then the deity must have already known what changes he could bring.
He was about to step inside the school when suddenly someone crashed into him from behind and cursed, "Look where you are going!" The growling voice was familiar, and without looking at the boy, Ikuto could tell that this was none other than the explosion hero.
Ikuto heaved a sigh and continued walking; further irritating Bakugo.
However, considering the teachers might be watching he just scoffed and continued walking.
When Ikuto reached his brother he found him foolishly staring in front of him with a blush on his face.
Instantly Ikuto knew that the boy had already 'talked' to Uraraka.
"Let's go." Patting his shoulder, Ikuto stepped forward, and Izuku followed the lead, still slightly flustered.
After that, the Present Mic welcomed all the examinees and explained what they were required to do in order to get selected as students.
This test is done to assess how efficient and accustomed a student is to their quirks.
There are several faux villains spread across the ruined cities and every student has to destroy them in order to gain points.
Coincidentally, Ikuto got into the same site as his brother and several more students.
The crowd of students were stretching and adjusting their bodies to use their quirks from the get-go.
Looking at their enthusiasm Ikuto sighed. How long has it been since he has seen such an energetic person? He can't remember.
Izuku was also standing nearby, silently. Although their distance had lessened, it wasn't like Izuku could become all friendly and casual with his brother. He still feared his Nii-san more than Kaachan.
"Ah..." Izuku suddenly spotted the same girl who helped him back then when he was about to fall near the entrance.
'I didn't say my thanks...' Nervously he was about to approach her so he could say his thanks.
However, before he could even take a step properly, someone held his shoulder and asked, "Are you hoping to interfere when she is in the zone?"
It was the bespectacled student who asked Present Mic the question about the Zero Pointer. His glare made Izuku shiver, and he heard other students making fun of him as well.
However, the hand of the glasses boy loosened when someone held his wrist firmly.
Iida turned his eyes toward the person who looked just like the one he warned, as he heard his threatening voice, "Remove your hand."
Iida wordlessly loosened his grip but before he could say anything to Ikuto,
"And begin!!" Present Mic shouted as the gates were parted, and swiftly, every student began to dash inside.
Iida also walked past the duo.
Izuku was still too overwhelmed by the fact that his Nii-san saved him. However his daze was short-lived when Ikuto reminded him,
"You don't want to pass the test anymore?" Saying so, Ikuto transformed into an alien, which made Izuku's eyes widen.
It was a feline-like blue creature with slim limbs and a sleek, streamlined appearance with vibrant colors and a peculiar design, reflecting his swift nature.
"See you around, "Saying so, Ikuto—now turned into an unknown alien—vanished from his spot, leaving only a small cloud of dust behind.
Izuku also turned around, and despite how much he was intrigued about this new quirk of his brother he also dashed inside the city.
...
Ikuto took a very distant spot to erase the faux villains. With his speed, it was impossible for them to realize his presence, and with the momentum Fastrack carried, even a slight jab was enough to destroy the faux villains.
In the canon, it was seen and said that Fastrack can reach the speed of Mach 10 but Ikuto was nowhere near that fast and truth be told he didn't need to. In his current speed only a few heroes, with All Might included can hope to trip him off rather than catching him.
Through the ruined city, Fastrack traveled in a blur, leaving afterimages behind as he severed more than a hundred faux villains without considering their points.
'Hmmm....' Since he had the time, Ikuto increased his pace, nearly becoming invisible even to the high motion sensor cameras around the site, as he reached near the entrance.
He found Izuku still hesitating to kill the faux villains which urged Ikuto to blur past the villain and severe one of its legs.
Izuku's eyes widened as, one moment the robot was about to attack him, and in the next, it was staggering, and barely standing.
Izuku took the advantage of the moment and with a fallen piece of the previously destroyed faux villain he attacked the staggering one.
After that, the series of finding several disabled faux villains continued and Izuku continued to attack them restlessly.
He couldn't believe he suddenly turned so lucky that he found these many free points.
'Its almost like some is favouring...wait!' Suddenly a realisation dawned upon Izuku as he turned around to look at the place where he felt someone looking at him.
However, before he could have searched for the person he was expecting, someone shouted.
"RUN!! IT'S THE ZERO POINTER!!"

[A few minutes ago]
In the monitoring room, one could see several UA teachers and the addition of a blond hulking male with a fearless smil could be seen surveilling the examination centers, and picking students they could be expecting in different courses.
"The blond kid from Site B is really violent." The square faced hero who goes by the name Cementos commented with his eyes particularly lingering at the amount of destruction the boy was causing in an attempt to take down as many faux villains as he could.
"Young Iida is not bad either. He got the reflexes and quick decision making. He is quite mindful of his surroundings and avoids those areas where confrontation could cause other students injuries." The small mouse-like person, who was also the principal of UA spoke up with a smile on his face.
Meanwhile, Toshinori's eyes were situated on the young green-haired youth and his successor. Not only Izuku started late, he has been failing to take down a single faux villain.
Although Midoriya has been training hard for the past ten months, an examination like this cannot be passed through human strength.
Midoriya needed his quirk but All Might didn't have the time to train him how to use One for All.
'Come on, Young Midoriya…' Without enrolling in the school, Midoriya would lose the chance to get educated by the best of the teachers.
"Aren't you all missing a very glaring matter…" Suddenly a groggy voice interrupted their engrossed watching before Aizawa added, "That boy…Midoriya Ikuto used a transformation which wasn't listed in his quirk. And what was that blinding speed? The sensors can barely track him now."
Not like the others didn't notice Ikuto's form and how easily he was weaving through the faux villains, but until now they were focusing on more of 'normal' students, if Bakugo is taken out, to share their assessment.
"Now that you say, isn't he faster than All Might?" The X-rated Heroine, Midnight asked as in general.
"It seems so. Although I don't know All Might's full speed, he still remains visible on cameras." Cementos commented.
Aizawa growled, "Having multiple quirks sounds unsettling. And with that speed he can do anything unless someone like All Might or Ingenium is there to stop him." Aizawa had a very bad feeling at the thought of seeing this kid taking the path of villainy.
However, if Ikuto's has the heart of saving others rather than attacking, then the heroes can have a very significant addition to their side.
Aizawa suggested, "I think it's the time to see his true nature." Saying so, he flipped the switch which originally Cementos intended to.
On the screen the zero point appeared and now every eye was drawn to the feline creature who could be seen standing atop a building and looking down at the rushing crowd of students.
'Now show your true self, Midoriya.'
