Capítulo 7: Hinata Hyuuga Part 1

POV Hinata Hyuuga

(Hinata's Age 4 years)

The day of her fourth birthday had finally ended and she was able to retreat to her bedroom to rest. She went to bed without incident, but was awakened by someone talking.

"You're not a Hyuuga. Why are you here?" a man asked with an annoyed tone

Hinata opened her eyes and peeked at the boy who stood near her with his back to her, facing the man who had spoken.

The young man had black hair and wore clothes that she found a bit funny, but subconsciously she knew that her situation was serious so she kept her mouth shut.

"I am Venti, god of the wind. I am here to protect this little girl from the schemes of Kumogakure." the young man replied.

She saw anger spark on the other mans face, then saw him glance towards the door to her room. When he did that, Hinata also heard the approaching footsteps, and realized that her rescue was coming.

Hinata looked back towards the bad man and suddenly found a kunai in his hand, with him turning the blade of it towards his own throat. Hinata closed her eyes tight and screamed.

Other people burst into her room, and Hinata opened her eyes and looked towards her father and two of their guards.

"Hiashi Hyuuga, this man is the head ninja of the Kumogakure delegation. He came here to try and kidnap Hinata, and if he failed to do so to die on the Hyuuga Compound so that the Raikage could claim innocence and demand 'justice' for the 'murder' of their ninja. So that he does not succeed at killing himself, disarm him and keep him sedated and alive until the Hokage can send some Anbu to retrieve him." the older boy instructed her father before moving away from her to make it clear he meant her no harm.

This gave her a chance to finally see her mysterious protectors face, and made her feel a bit drawn in by his green eyes.

She looked at the bad man and found him unconscious, and wondered just how he had done it.

"Who are you?" Hinata heard her father ask with confusion.

"I'll let the Third Hokage tell you that if he wants too, You can just call me Venti for now" the boy insisted before glancing towards her for a moment "Needless to say, I am not an enemy of yours, though. I came to know that Kumogakure planned to behave in this manner tonight and decided to step in and protect your daughter because it was the right thing to do. I require no thanks or payment or anything of that sort. Now that my job is done, I'll be going, sir. Remember to be extra careful so that he does not die."

Hinata was rather entranced by the boy, who had called himself Venti, the wind god. She wondered if he was really a god or not, but either way she found him to be curious.

Suddenly, though, the boy or god named Venti, just disappeared. He didn't pop or fade like a typical clone, though. He was just there one moment, and gone the next.

------

The next day, Hinata was with her father as they entered the Hokage's office. Her father had been quite frustrated since the previous evening, and had decided to confront the Third Hokage about the identity of that boy. He had said as much before they'd come here.

"Welcome, Hiashi." Hiruzen said in greeting "I gather that you are here about what happened last night?" he asked.

"I want to know about the boy that called himself Venti. He said you know him" Her father insisted.

"I see. Yes, I met that boy once, on the day that the Kyuubi attacked." Hiruzen insisted "Did you look at him with your byakugan?"

Her father shook his head "He was just one brat, why would it be necessary to activate my Byakugan?"

"Venti calls himself the 'god of the wind' and has been active in Konoha since the Kyuubi incident, appearing and disappearing as he pleases. He seems to be watching a particular child, though no one has ever caught more then a glimpse of him." Hiruzen explained to her father "Venti seems to have incredible abilities, but no discernable chakra in his body. It is likely that if he doesn't want to be seen, then even your byakugan wont see him. Fortunately he doesn't seem to be an enemy of Konoha. Whether or not he is a god as he claims, I do not know. He certainly is undefinable, though. How can one have zero chakra? This I do not know."

------

Another day had passed since she had visited the Hokage with her father, and she had just undergone another morning of harsh training with her father when that boy entered the dojo and her face became filled with surprise. Hinata had not expected to see him again so soon, but she wasn't complaining.

"Good morning, Hiashi Hyuuga. Since you just finished training with Hinata, I'm going to borrow her. Don't worry, no harm will com to her at all." the boy insisted.

Hinata saw her father activate his Byakugan and face the boy, and judging by her fathers expression she thought he saw something weird or something.

"I can't just let you be alone with my daughter." her father frowned.

"Oh, but I wouldn't harm her" the boy said to her father like it was obvious, only to thereafter lift up into the air as a pair of white wings appeared from his back and his primarily green and white bard tunic was replaced with a far less covering white outfit of his godly form. At this point Hoshi knew he could only maintain the god state for a bit over four minutes, but that was long enough to make a point. Hoshi figured Hiashi and Hinata didn't need to know that yet.

Even if Venti did not possess chakra, the pressure that this form put out made her father fall down to one knee, thought Hinata was not being subjected to the same pressure that her father was.

"From now on, Hinata is my friend" the boy god insisted to her father "You don't want to prevent your daughter from having friends, do you?"

"Of course not." her father said through gritted teeth.

The boy had a cheerful smile as he approached Hinata and offered her his hand "Do you know who I am?" he asked.

"Barbatos, god of the wind." The words came to Hinata's mouth, though she didn't understand where they came from. She thought his name was Venti, after all, but instead the name Barbatos came out.

The boys feet again touched the ground as Hinata grasped his hand, and his wings vanished while his previous outfit was again on him "Indeed. In this form I am Venti the Bard, What you just saw, Hinata, was my true divine form. The name granted to that form is Barbatos, god of freedom, and god of the wind, It's a pleasure to properly meet you."

------

POV Hoshi (As Venti)

Hoshi was quite happy with Hinata's reaction, particularly with her instinctively comprehending the name Barbatos. What he had just done with his Venti manifestation was use ether to forcefully change into his divine form, but if he wanted to truly do it at will and without serious drawbacks, then what he needed was faith, according to his system.

After saving Hinata, and considering what he knew of her potential, he had hoped that she'd be a candidate suitable for the position of high priestess of a new religion. According to his system, if he won the trust of someone, then if they saw his divine form they'd instinctively know his divine name, which thankfully appeared to be the case with Hinata here "Lets go talk elsewhere." holding Hinata's hand, he led her away from her father, who remained down on one knee until after they had left the room.

------

Following that event, 'Venti' appeared at the Hyuuga compound every few days and hung out with Hinata, using light ether to obscure what they were doing when he started training her.

Unlike her father, he trained Hinata with the rigid and unyielding methods of the clan, Hoshi/Venti/Barbatos specialized her training with positive reinforcement and kindness at the core, and he did his best to place zero pressure on her little shoulders.

With his training, her skill started getting better and better, but he advised her not to let her father and others know about it. He wanted her to be free from the pressures of her clan in the future, and the best way to do that was to let her sister become the heiress, while Hinata would become his high priestess.

Thanks to being reincarnated, Hoshi knew that Hinata's elemental affinities were fire and lightning, and this Hinata would have an additional affinity, which was wind. Once Hinata's faith in him had given him enough power to bestow it, he used his divine state to imbue her with the affinity for the wind, and it even became her strongest affinity of the three.

Her one weak point remained her chakra pool, but he used ether to gradually expand her limit each time they met.

Most of the days when Hoshi/Venti didn't visit Hinata, he instead had instead either been training by himself or visiting Naruto to continue urging him to learn chakra control. Once Pyra became able to take the form of Mythra, Hoshi/Venti started bringing Mythra along for the training, letting her be seen as a companion to Venti, while her Pyra form continued working at Hoshi's mothers shop and was never seen along with Venti, allowing Hoshi's identity to remain unknown.

Like this, two years and 8 months more passed, and it was time for Hoshi to enter the academy.
