Trembling by the encounter of that man, I was hoping to find refuge from all the madness that is happening around me.
It was way past noon, and I was feeling the tiredness of encountering madness everywhere where I've gone to. The station where I can remember was straight ahead. I saw the sign and a light feeling gave me hope.
"I am almost there! I can see it!", I hurry over and suddenly I felt it yet again, a deep chill on my spine while walking, I feel that something or someone's watching me, I took a look but there was just an empty street.
I went inside the building to find help. "Hello? Is someone here?" A man in uniform came out of an office, he took a deep look and invited me in. I cried as he was the same a policeman do there work, I felt that I was safe. "Whoa miss, you must be tired. Here take this." He passes a handkerchief to wipe the tears. "From the look of yourself, are you being chased?" "Y-yes, A-as, H-he was, a-and, can you help- me." I was stuttering and trembling from the trauma that was imprinted in me by that guy. "Now, you must calm down. You are safe now, there is no such safer place than the authority." He said and patted me in the back.
"Sigh-- look at yourself your skin is covered with dirt, a lady should be always clean, my, my, your beautiful feet are so poor, where are your footwear?" I couldn't speak due to the crying. He then accompanies me towards his station to get clean, he was like in a hurry he let me inside the room and offered me a seat, "sit here and please clean yourself with this (hands over the towel*), are you not careful of your beautiful feet? And change your clothes, it's like a rung full of dirt and stinks of sweat, there in that cabinet there, on the left shelf there is some slipper, that door is a bathroom, clean yourself first before you state me your business, I will just get some papers." "Huh?" And just like that, he left. I was left dumbfounded, so instead of lollygagging, I fixed myself up.
He's weird, he's always in a hurry, I look at the table "Brooke Suarez is his name, huh." I fixed myself up and get some clothes, and clean myself. I looked in the mirror and saw myself. "Pfft, I'm a mess, I look like I wasn't asleep for weeks and got hit by a car type of mess." I then looked away and hugged myself at the cubicle.
After I finished cleaning and wore the dress that was given to me with the towel. I went to get a slipper, and open the right shelf. I was petrified at what I wasn't supposed to discover, it was full of arms and legs. I think to myself, this is just a prop, right?' I heard footsteps and close it and got some nice shoes, and pretend I never saw that.
I returned to my seat and he sat on his table. He looks at me with a pleasing look, "Hmn, much better. So tell me what is wrong my dear?" I looked away and said, "actually, I don't know what is happening. I was just headed to work and got kidnap, then got chased by a man that want to abduct me" I tremble in fear talking. "I see, are you not from here?" "I am a local here but then everything changed in a blink of an eye, kidnaper, everything has changed, I know it's a little confusing but you got to believe me" He sighed, "You, huh. I suggest you rest so that you can collect your thoughts. That's enough for now. You need to rest." He handed me some papers so I can write my case all down. "I want to go home."
I want to rest in my bed and maybe when I wake up, things would go back to what it was.
I heard a click sound from the door and look back. "So are you done?" He said sitting at a chair near the door. "Yes, I want to go home, now. My parent is going to be worried. I wrote my contact number, you can contact me when you catch the kidnapers and that man, thank you."
I walk to the door and it was locked. "Huh?" The officer laughs and grabs me. "Why are you going so soon? You still need rest, that fillup form is not accurate since you are not fully rested." He then firmly tighten his grip, "Sir? Let go! You're hurting me." "Oh, I'm sorry young one. I don't want to let go. It a shame to just, let go of a fine body. To be exact I haven't seen any other people like you." '"what are you talking about?" "I know that you opened that shelf, I was just surprised that you did not react as what those owners did." "Huh?" "Oh, did not realize it?" "But… aren't those just props? You're saying they are the real deal?" "Hahaha, I did expect you to be this naïve. Yes my dear they are, THE REAL DEAL. I just cleaned them, wash away the stinking blood and preserve." I tremble at those words as he whispers them slowly in my ear. "Now, now don't be scared I'm not just going to rip your limbs like them, your quite intriguing if I say so my self. IM GONNA MAKE YOUR BODY AN ART. Let's say I will just paralyze in place. How's that sound?" "No, let go of me, help!" "oh no, there is no point in screaming. No one is going to hear you around here. Hmn your skin is smooth, perfect for my collection. I will make you the most beautiful doll"
I struggle to keep him off. Then he lifts the dress and checks my underwear. "The design is too plain it's not my type, what are you an elementary student?" And rip them off. "Don't be shy, A doll must wear a fashionable one. I will get that later after I calm you down."
"Why are you doing this!? You're an officer!" "Am I? To tell the truth, I AM NOT. No one in this area is the police, I just took this place and made it my own, to be exact my art gallery. Upstairs I got the perfect spot for you."
"No! Let go!" -- BANG!
Then suddenly I hear a gunshot and hit the offer in the head. I was petrified, as his blood splashed everywhere. I fall on my feet trembling at that sight that would haunt me in my sleep, or even when I see the color of blood. His arm moved towards me, grasping. "_____" I don't know what he said but he was mumbling something. And a gun fired again at him. I was terrified that it would target me next to I went to the bathroom for it has no window.
I cried in fear that I almost couldn't breathe. I locked the door and had panic attacks in the cubicle. I don't know what to do I just want to ask up, as if everything is just a dream.
Later, I woke up with my back aching, I found my self in the toilet seat sleeping and looked at the mirror beside me. "So it wasn't a dream."
I hurriedly wash the blood off. I was so disgusted and I almost want to puke. I return to the cabinet of cloths to change avoiding my view of the dead officer lying on the floor. I was wondered why there are no pants, so I take what I've got. "This is embarrassing, sigh--, I don't have a choice." I was all clean yet still can open the door. I look for the key in his desk, yet it was not there, and search his dead body. "ah, here it is!' I hurriedly went out. I look around for transportation. "I need to get home."
Luck struck me when I saw a cab approaching. I was lucky to have a ride home.
