Synopsis:-
He was reincarnated as a demon with extraordinary talents and a long lifespan. Though born with living parents, he became an orphan and had to fend for himself, always cautious of both his own kind and humans. Still, it didn't bother him too much. At least when he was three, he suddenly gained a system—though it turned out to be less useful than expected.
Even so, it allowed him to travel back in time, where he befriended Frieren. But soon, he realized that his friend had a strong prejudice against demons.
Thankfully, the little sister from his tribe, Aura, whom he'd known since birth, had become quite successful. However, their relationship was a bit complicated—he used to boss her around as a child.
That wasn't a major issue, though. He even met the strongest hero, but... the hero died a little too early. As he moved between the human and demon worlds, he gradually realized that neither side could be trusted.
"There's no choice, I'll have to rely on myself."
And so, he set a new goal for himself: kill the current demon king and become the new demon king—tentatively.

This is peak, author understood how demons work in Frieren world, and does a great job at showing how MC is different. Progression seems pretty good for now.

Ingredients: 24 frog legs, skin removed 1 cup all-purpose flour ½ cup cornmeal 1 (4 ounce) packet saltine crackers, crushed 1 tablespoon ground black pepper 2 teaspoons salt 1 teaspoon minced onion 2 eggs ½ cup milk 2 cups vegetable oil for frying 1 cup peanut oil for frying Cooking Instructions: Step 1. Rinse frog legs and pat dry; set aside. Combine flour, cornmeal, saltine cracker crumbs, pepper, salt, and onion in a large resealable bag; shake well to mix. Whisk eggs and milk together in a shallow bowl. Step 2. Heat vegetable oil and peanut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. The oil should be about 1/2 inch deep. Step 3. Dip legs into egg mixture in batches, then press into cracker mixture until evenly coated. Place the breaded legs, unstacked, onto a plate. Repeat with remaining legs. Step 4. Lower breaded legs carefully into the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes on each side. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Repeat with remaining frog legs. I stopped at chapter 31, Why? I honestly don't even know what to say about how incredible this story is, just unbelievable. The best story I've ever read, I hope you don't abandon it and continue as long as your creativity allows.
It's exceptional, it made me think about writing my own Frieren fanfic, since there aren't many, the relationship between the characters is described in an exceptional way, keep it up!
now then for the usual, read the fanfic before the original, its a weird feeling to know and also not to know what the heck your reading, its just like that time i read honkai invictus haha i didnt even know what a fanfic was back then and thought it was a novel, anyways suggest you guys try it out (the strangeness is what makes me do it).
