Myra's limp body fell over in a heap on the ground.

"Huh. Guess you were a higher rank than she was." Zero spoke in Conner's voice. He liked the feeling of speed that the energy surging through him was enabling. Zero could only wonder why Conner didn't make himself more of a threat in battle.

"Y-you.....monster!" Conner yelled. He tried to lunge forward but found it hard to do so with the chains. "I'll kill you for this!"

Zero flexed his new fingers. He felt less physical strength in this body since his actual one was slightly more honed thanks to Gwyn's training. But, the speed made it all worth it.

"So now you're just going to ignore me?! So you were the boss this whole time!" Conner continued to rage.

"No." Zero replied. He looked into Conner's white eyes. "The system was."

"Huh? T-that doesn't make any-"
