Chrysanthe let out a chilling scream as she fell from the sky when she opened a portal that would lead them to Aisgath. As the new Unseelie Queen, Chrysanthe learned many spells from the Court of Moonlight, including opening a portal to places she'd once visited. It was her first time using this spell, and she hadn't expected the outcome. 

As she screamed for her dear life, Chrysanthe cursed her husband repeatedly in her heart. He was the one who taught her this spell, but Daemon failed to mention the location where the portal would appear. She knew her husband knew this and wanted to pull her leg by keeping the destination a secret. 

The swirling vortex of the portal seemed to mock her as if it knew the fear and frustration consuming her. Chrysanthe vowed to make Daemon pay for his deceit once she escaped this precarious situation and returned home to their court.
