As she looked at Lord Kieran, Iris remained silent and rooted from where she stood. Her transformation into an archdemon left even the demon lord speechless. For her to become an archdemon only meant her affinity for nature meant her power was too great for a common darkling to contain.

The demons in Asnar were categorized into three levels: the regular demons, the greater demons, and the archdemons. He and Killian fell into the greater demon level, along with the other demon lords of the same race. However, there hadn't been an archdemon for over three thousand years until Iris was reborn into one. 

"My dearest Iris," Lord Kieran called after her. "What happened to you?"

Iris frowned and slightly tilted her head to one side. The color of her eyes and hair remained, but her pointed ears and sharp claws indicated she wasn't longer human.
