Resumen
Author note: There will be romance and this will be a piece by piece path to power sort of story so don't expect him to be OP as hell right away. If you've read the second version of my [Custom monster system] story it's like that.
Alexander Drake is killed by a bear he was hunting while and wonders "Is this it?". The answer was obviously NO! He meets a powerful being after his death and is offered the deal of an afterlifetime granting him the powers of a forbidden Siren in the world of Borderlands. All is not smooth sailing for Alex however as the being has made him work for his power and that means he must put himself in danger but he doesn't mind, after what's the point otherwise?

Honestly, love anything Borderlands. Take all my powerstones! On another note, background for the character is interesting and I like that hes just rough and tumble. The kinda system interface way his abilities are set up make it easier for us as viewers to understand and quantify which is appreciated. Honestly, goated story and the character seems pretty understandable and neither a genius or complete idiot. Hope our boy ends up fighting bug monsters with brass knuckles later on when he gets proper technique because your girl loves melee in the borderlands universe. Pleez gib moar chaptur
The overall pacing doesn't exist after like the first 3 chapters everything is being rushed with no indepth character diving. it's like putting all your money into appearance but having no substance. The pacing needs to be slower and the charger shouldn't thank of everything prior as though he's reading off a laundry list of task completed. The brief tidbits info we do get isn't enough for emersion. There is no sense of the mc facing a crisis despite him being in an unfamiliar world, facing monsters he's only seen behind a screen before. The instances that are referenced are just glanced over and deeply explored. Mc does actively try and understand the world around. Great premise but execution is lacking. The story has potential.
Since it is borderlands and he has one of the siren powers I’ll probably make the most strongest one so how would that work with fazeLeach since the Calypso twins could take powers from other sirens could they take his power or is it just him so how is that gonna. you just gonna make his Powers so strong just probably can’t take his powers since how do you made it sound he can take the other powers make copies for him self
these kinda storys are not around much anymore so its good to see more borderlands ones come out just hope they dont stop posting like the rest
This author hasn't made any bad books in my opinion. Worth the chance to see the journey.
