Capítulo 44: Apologies 2
Neil looked with interest at a medium-sized cake covered in chocolate cream and blueberry jam on top and fruit ornaments from small blueberries to red strawberries, held by Sain with a smile playing on his lips.
If there was a food that Neil preferred, it would be cakes like what Sain gave him right now. Neil remembers he used to buy these often and eat them alone.
Neil sat down after Sain put the plate on the table, and had put a piece of cake for each of them. There was so much chocolate cream and blueberry jam all over the plate that he scribbled it that Neil couldn't stop himself from licking his chocolate-soaked fingertips.
Neil usually didn't eat like this much less in front of his father, but this time he couldn't help himself at all. He forgot how to eat properly at the dinner table or how he should behave.
He gave Sain a look asking permission so he could eat it first to which immediatelySainnodded in agreement.
With that, Neil started eating it. Neil forgot that Sain was watching him since earlier, as he was too focused on the dish. As the first bite of the cake touched his tongue, Neil moaned softly as the taste melted and dissolved in his mouth.
He didn't stop at the first bite. Neil continued to eat, closing his eyes between bites, gulping, and preparing for the next time. He finished the first piece quickly, then paused to enjoy it more deeply.
Neil knew some people didn't like too much sweet stuff, but Neil didn't. He needed it to at least feel normal again.
Neil finally turned his gaze to Sain, the slice of cake that was on his plate was still intact and clearly, Sain hadn't touched it at all. Instead, he looked at Neil with his dark eyes and heavy breathing.
Neil was about to open his mouth, but before he could ask, Sain had raised a hand to Neil's face, wiping the corner of his mouth with his thumb. Sain then brought his thumb to his mouth and sucked on it, his tongue past the chocolate droplets stuck to his finger.
Neil felt his mouth move restlessly, and his breath seemed to get heavier as the warm sensation took over his body.
"Riksa... What—" Layman tried to ask, but Sain first silenced him with a hiss and got up from his chair.
Sain holds Neil's chair with one hand and his chin with the other, lifting Neil's head before giving him a kiss, which shows a sense of need and desperation.
Neil subconsciously opened his mouth, felt the sweetness of Sain's tongue inside his lips, and subconsciously groaned at him. He closed his eyes as Sain deepened the kiss. Neil didn't want to think about why Sain did this anymore, he just enjoyed the kiss as if it was another piece of cake. He almost always doesn't understand how the way Sain does it to him makes Neil feel floating and struggling with various emotions. On one hand, Neil wanted to push Sain away and on the other most dominant side he wanted to continue to let him and carry Neil flying.
The kiss lasted seconds or minutes, Neil couldn't remember well. When Sain pulled away from him, there was a strong gleam in his black eyes, and he gulped.
"I want you," Sain mumbled and Neil just nodded. Deep in his mind, a question mark rose to the surface of his mind. Why? Why does Sain want it?
However, right now Neil just wanted to give up. He didn't want to think about the consequences or the reasons. He just wanted Sain to be with him, in his bed, above him.
