The morning sun painted the construction site in hues of gold as the workers gathered, ready for another day of effort. The road connecting Mondstadt to the new city was starting to look more than just a project on paper—it was a reality being built before everyone's eyes. Satoshi walked across the site, his gaze moving from the machinery to the workers, and finally to the long stretch of road ahead.
"Okay, everyone! Let's make today even more productive than the last!" Satoshi called out, his voice carrying a sense of optimism that was quickly picked up by the crowd of workers.
Lumine and Paimon were already there, sporting bright, energetic smiles that made the early morning seem less grueling. Paimon, as always, floated by Lumine's side, her small form contrasting with the bulky construction machinery surrounding them.
"Morning, Satoshi!" Paimon called out, waving her hand enthusiastically. "Paimon is ready to give orders today!"
Satoshi chuckled, giving them a friendly nod. "Morning, Paimon. Morning, Lumine. You guys seem energetic today. I think you're getting the hang of this construction business."
Lumine smiled warmly. "It's hard not to be motivated when everyone else is putting in so much effort. Besides, the progress we've made so far is amazing."
Paimon puffed out her chest with pride. "Paimon is the best construction supervisor in Teyvat!"
Satoshi laughed at that, shaking his head. "I don't doubt it, Paimon."
As they spoke, another familiar face approached the construction site. Kaeya, wearing his usual charming grin, strode confidently towards them.
"Ah, the legendary builders of Mondstadt," Kaeya said with a playful tone. "I heard there's some heavy lifting to be done, so I thought I'd lend a hand."
Satoshi smiled, genuinely surprised. "Kaeya, it's good to see you here. You're actually volunteering to help out?"
Kaeya shrugged, his smile widening. "Well, let's just say I've heard tales of how this road will lead to something spectacular—a new city, wasn't it? How could I resist being part of history?"
Paimon floated over, her hands on her hips. "Oh, so you just want the glory, huh? Typical Kaeya!"
Kaeya let out a hearty laugh, giving Paimon a wink. "You caught me, Paimon. But in all seriousness, I'm here to help. Where do you need me, Satoshi?"
Satoshi pointed to a group of workers who were struggling to move a large metal beam. "If you could help them move that beam over there, that'd be great. It's pretty heavy, and they could use some extra hands."
Kaeya gave a mock salute, heading over to assist the workers. "Consider it done."

The construction site was soon bustling with activity. Albedo, true to his word, had been working on improving the efficiency of the construction machines. He had incorporated some alchemical elements into the machinery, which now ran smoother and required less manual effort from the workers.
"This is amazing, Albedo!" Satoshi said, watching as one of the machines moved with a newfound precision. "I can't believe how much faster we're getting things done now."
Albedo smiled, his eyes glinting with satisfaction. "It's all about understanding the principles of energy conversion. The machines just needed a little alchemical enhancement to reach their full potential."
Paimon, who was watching the machine in action, looked bewildered. "Paimon doesn't understand any of that, but it's working, so that's good enough for Paimon!"
Lumine nodded in agreement. "Whatever you did, Albedo, it's working wonders. The workers seem to be in better spirits too."

Later in the afternoon, as the sun reached its peak, the construction crew decided to take a break. A few tables had been set up under a tent to provide shade, and the workers gathered around to rest and have lunch.
Jean had arrived with a basket of freshly made sandwiches, and Noelle was by her side, carrying several jugs of juice.
"Everyone, take a break!" Jean called out, her voice carrying an air of authority. "We've got lunch ready, and it's important to stay hydrated."
The workers, grateful for the break, gathered around the tables, chatting and laughing as they ate. Satoshi, Lumine, Paimon, Kaeya, and Albedo joined the group, enjoying the opportunity to relax.
"I have to say, Satoshi, you really know how to keep things lively around here," Kaeya said, taking a bite of his sandwich. "It's almost like we're having a party instead of building a city."

Paimon, her mouth full of sandwich, mumbled, "Paimon thinks it's all about the food! Good food makes everything better!"
