Capítulo 4: OldTown

The Reach. Old Town Year: 262 AC-

-Stark Home in Oldtown-

Hariric got out of bed with little effort. I had a schedule. He woke up at six in the morning (thanks to magic and regenerative meditation skills) and went to bed at two in the morning. It is true that there were no watches but Hariric had created an internal clock a long time ago more than anything for the simple fact that he needed to be alert at all times. Anyway, he always had a hectic day, although of course the teachers had not been kind to him at all.

Hariric woke up early where he did his physical exercises. Although he was seven years old, his body already had the appearance of a twelve-year-old boy and he knew he had to train him. The magic was good and everything but the physical power enhanced by the magic was good. It is true that his own being had a monstrous amount of magic and in addition to that some of the rituals he had done in his past life had been transferred to his person.

That was completely a surprise for hariric. I had actually hoped that that was not true in any way and that I would really have to redo many rituals but it seemed that it was not like that which also proved to be a good thing.

The Chimaera ritual was a ritual created by Morgana Lefay with the intention of giving her son Mordred the power to overcome his father who had the essence of a powerful dragon in his being. He basically met the characteristics of several creatures by giving great power to his son. His ritual remained written and the Black family somehow got it.

His chimaera ritual used several unique elements. Phoenix tears to cure anything. As is natural, phoenix tears heal everything since they are vital essence. They cured from problems such as very lethal poisons such as basilisk poison to more dangerous things such as mental illness or cancer. It goes without saying that keeping this means that none of the citadel's attempts to hurt him worked.

The next element they used was dragon heart. The dragon heart is one of the most common magical nuclei that's true. But what nothing and no one really knew is that it was also one of the most magically charged elements. In the past, dragon heart was eaten to saturate a person with magic. This practice was lost because there was a possibility in twenty of dying. The ritual, however, turned the heart into basically pure energy and gave it to Hariric.

The third element that the Black family used were the eyes of Gato Wampus. The Wampus Cat had one of the most powerful magical eyes since they allowed them a level of Legeremancia which meant that the Wampus Cat was not only able to read minds but also capture people's emotions and at the same time manipulate a person's mind and emotions. So when the family was able to have these eyes (which fortunately were taken from a cat that died recently instead of being cruel and taking them out of one alive) they used them to give him these abilities.

They also used Uro's blood. The Uro is a physically powerful creature that was capable if the data is true with enough force to carry the entire Hogwarts train. Such was his strength that the entire species was watched to make sure that no investigations were done with his blood. His grandfather got a litre of blood which was not easy to say and he used it in the ritual giving him an even greater physical reach considerably expanding his physical strength.

They used Demiguise's hair. The hair of said sweet animal was more than anything to produce layers of invisibility. By giving him this hair they hoped to be able to make him of course able to use the magic of invisibility more easily. What neither he nor his family expected future events but it didn't matter because in the end he was still able to camouflage himself or rather make people not perceive it.

And the last element was a horned snake jewel made of powder. The horned snake has a special stone known as Magic Jewel. When they die, all the energy they have had in life is transferred to that jewel. Considering that a single snake can live five hundred years, that's a lot of energy. When they used the jewel, this energy formed part of their being, which considerably increased their powers.

A more than important rule to know is that a magician is so limited by three points: his knowledge, his will and his power. Magic is a magnificent energy that has life but like any form of life expects things in return. That's where the will comes into play since if your will is weak, why should magic listen to you?

One of the reasons why the Black family despised Dumbledore is because he had erased many fundamental classes. Once again he showed a point. The rulers of any country never want an intelligent educated people? That's right. An intelligent people survives, an intelligent people advances and improves, but cultured? If a people is not educated, they will be unable to take sensible measures in the process, such as questioning a leader.

Dumbledore got the basic education that implied that magic is a sensitive form since it is a form of energy that has the memories of each magician and creature. It was essentially life itself. One test was the Hogwarts castle that had in a nutshell a certain degree of sensitivity. Anyway, Dumbledore had no interest in knowing the basic lessons.

Dumbledore had all three things. I had knowledge since I knew. He wanted to be the greatest. And I had power to spare. The combination of the three things had given him a serious advantage over all the enemies he had. It was because of his power and strength that he was the most powerful sorcerer even more than Voldemort since although Voldemort was intelligent with the dark arts, what else was he capable of?

It's not that the rest mattered anyway in Hariric's mind. Dumbledore was really wrong and performed the most foolish action of all and in the process he weakened Great Britain something that made the Black family unhappy. Afterwards anyway Hariric had many things. He had power (the ritual as a whole, the magic of his family and his own magic as well as his connection with his nucleus), he had knowledge (his ability to see magic as much more) and most importantly he had the will.

"Thinking so much is bad for that cute little head of yours." An angelic voice came to the mind of Hariric who was calmly getting up when he noticed nothing more and nothing less than the beautiful creature that was on the hanger. It was about Hedwig. A phoenix with silver feathers with black touches.

"Good morning Hed. The truth is that my thoughts are going to how I'm going to use magic more. Although I have to say that the house is not bad, I like our family's construction style better anyway.'' The Black family combined the Byzantine, Greco-Roman and Gothic style in all its constructions.

"I won't deny that there was more beauty in the actions of the Black family than in the actions of these fools. Consider yourself the pinnacle of society. Please. I have seen creatures that are more of a pinnacle than these complete idiots. However, it is to be expected. They believe and think that they are above all. It doesn't surprise me that they are a decadent society.'' Hedwigg's opinion of these southerners was not the best.

"It's not very difficult to talk about the beauty of my family. I will not deny that they were cunning bastards in the least of the cases but when they did something nothing stopped them. When they wanted something, they dedicated themselves to it completely. There is no better way to say it than I hate how these people have stagnated so much''. Hariric obviously hated how things had stalled.

"Your family wasn't so bad Harry. Anyway, you should be thinking about other things like these people. These so-called masters. The last two years have been disgusting. You have been taught things that you already knew in elementary school. If I have to be honest, it is disappointing at best to see you so backward and think that you are proud of your achievements.'' Hedwigg mocked the obvious incompetence of the so-called lords of knowledge.

"The Black family was not bad but it must be recognised that the Blacks were many things but kind did not enter their vocabulary in the least. I think the best way to describe them was as the group most willing to solve things in their own way. I won't deny that they were brilliant but being brilliant doesn't really mean everything''. I would never deny that despite how good the Blacks were, they also had their flaws.

"They were certainly a very interesting family. However, at least they never tried to exploit obviously a disdain for the Potter family. Any other family would have tried anyway to exploit what your parents' actions were. They were very stupid. I think I should say that your family was good when they didn't act that way.'' I wouldn't deny that she really didn't feel sorry for the Potter family and even less knowing that they were partially responsible for Hariric losing his family.

"Arcthurus said that what he felt James' mother would think was enough. He felt that Dorea would one day settle accounts with her own son for describing him as a complete fool. It doesn't matter what Dumbledore did with their minds. Grandma won't forgive her actions for what they told me about her''. Dorea Potter was a loving woman. Everyone could say that. But at the same time that she was a loving woman, she was also a cruel woman.

"Your grandmother was the mother of the Nest. It was his duty to make sure by all means that no silly mistakes are made like the one your father made. If you stop to think about it, it's really understandable because your grandmother wasn't happy in the least if she found out about this''. Hedwigg honestly would have liked to be there. At least here the Stark house followed to the letter what was obviously a more than intelligent way of thinking: the lone wolf dies but the pack lives. Very smart.

"My grandmother was very special if I have to say it. Anyway, I doubt you're interested in talking only about my family and the past. What did you think of this new world? Is that okay with you? Do you feel that it is a more suitable world for you? I know that as a magical creature the amount of ambient magic must be affecting you in some way''. Hariric looked at her beauty while through the window he saw some people you are looking carefully. Since he arrived he had guards watching him.

"It's a magnificent world. The amount of ambient magic feels like someone is raining the sun on my wings. I would be able to create a firebomb capable of consuming the whole city from what I can tell and I would still have enough energy to get out of here if I have to be honest''. Hedwigg had never felt more full of life.

"I'm immensely happy. We have a lot of work to do in this world. A lot of work to get to do and frankly I don't see it as an easy task since it is possibly one of the most difficult places to move''. Hariric was telling the truth. The South was Racist. The north was a group that felt that the others were nuisances. And what's worse, both groups were conformists. What had happened to humanity?

"These humans obviously don't feel that there is a need to move forward. Without I have to say it, it seems typical of a group that is not only stagnant but happy with things. And with the scholars clearly interested in not moving forward, I'm not surprised.' In their world of origin, scientists always sought to advance and study.

""Cleiness and myopia should be the harshest crimes. We can't do anything right now. Possibly they put us in the whole world but I'm a fucking nonconformist and I honestly wonder what I can do with all the environmental friend in the air''. Hariric felt that it was stupid of the scientists to do what they were doing.

"Remember that your own vassals won't see it as well. They'll find it bad. They will be unhappy. They will think that you are obviously on the wrong track. It's not that I care too much. You can always solve things the Black style I think it would be the best way to solve it anyway''. The best way to solve things is always by means that you make it clear that the point is on your side.

"Humanity is full of defects, there is no better way to describe it anyway. However, I know that Northerners respect something: the law of the strongest. I intend to make the Stark house so powerful that the other lords of the north when they say one thing know better than to say something about them. It's the best way to say it.'' The law of the strongest was always and would always be a natural thing to see.

"Doing that wouldn't be so much a bad idea and it would be the best thing you could do also seeing that obviously there are people so interested in what it is to hurt the Stark house. No matter how it gets or the thoughts that other people have the case in question is that if you want the Stark house to be strong you will have to do it the old fashioned way''. Hedwigg sigh.

''Possibly. I will not deny that there are too many possibilities in reality that there are many people less than happy with me for being basically someone who alters the balance. But I refuse to live in an underdeveloped place. And I will make sure by all means that slowly but surely the power of the Stark house rises even more powerful.'' It was the reality. The best way to get things or at least make sure that everyone left him alone was by making a path of strength and wealth.

"It's not that I can say that you're walking on the wrong path anyway. I mean that you are making an effort to improve the lives of others so speaking in a more or less decent way you can't say that you're acting selfishly.' Hedwigg sigh. Harry could be a human that some would say was a combination of many things. It was both good and with touches of darkness.

"The British Ministry of Magic showed me the damage that Hedwig corruption can do. I can understand being a rather understanding person and approving of certain ways of thinking that are basically a movement with the interest of clearly becoming more balanced as a government instead of being a complete dictatorship but do not deny it leaving a democracy as it is so free to invite problems in the worst way''. I was studying if I could tie people to contracts.

"You had to choose the worst of all types of examples. OK. I admit the magic ministry was shit. There people were placed not by skill but by blood. What you are thinking of doing will require time and dedication''. As it was her duty as a guide, Hedwigg decided that it was in her best interest to teach her lessons of what was obviously a magnificent way of intelligent thinking.

"I'm not stupid. I am fully aware that if I do not walk with much eye there are many possibilities that the whole power structure that I am going to create will be used with my family''. Hariric sighs. If there was something she felt better than anyone anyway, it was how her bond with her friend was so strong. She was his guardian.

"I will also leave and move away in the direction of the sea by propulsion. I can even hear from here these stupid people talking about trying to use a network against me when I least expect it. Seriously, humans don't understand that there are things they can't touch.'' The opinion of humanity went down the drain by many Muggle-borns who thought that magic could be established and told.

"Believe me, respect for humanity, especially the non-magic ones, went to hell a long time ago, especially when you see that they do not treat mother nature with respect. Anyway, I'll go see something that has been calling my attention in recent weeks. Hedwigg you could always use the flare and appear somewhere else this way they won't be able to put a finger on you and if they come in here well it gives me an excuse to leave''. Hariric smiled. He had already done his job anyway.

"So you want them to enter your home to set up a lawsuit to the ruling house here making them look like worthless inept who should above all ensure the safety of the people who live in their city. Very brilliant, and what will you tell them if they answer you that they were looking for a dangerous animal?''. Hedwigg was a phoenix so it was obvious that he was dangerous.

Although they can excuse themselves by saying that they saw a dangerous creature enter, I couldn't care less because this is my house as long as I stay here so obviously by doing such things they are not respecting the right that it was the home of a Lord Stark and therefore they are a threat to me so I should not stay here any longer''. Hariric shrugged his shoulders thinking it was stupid not to think of it as what it was.

"And as for you being a dangerous creature, it's the fucking truth. I don't deny it. But you're also an intelligent creature. You are much more than what other people think or believe so it's not my problem what they think or whatever they believe because you are who you are. And if they have a problem, give them''. Hariric gave her friend a lonely look and smiled seeing that she also looked funny.

"Well thought out and executed so a step is granted. But Harry, be careful. I'm afraid of what these people would be capable of doing and I don't want to and I don't want to imagine what they would be able to do to achieve their goals. People can become more than unpleasant when they think they have the right to something''. With that said, Hedwigg disappeared in a white fireball.

Hariric left the house well hidden. Although many would look for a noble boy Hariric dressed well but not so well. He was Northern so he knew perfectly well that people underestimated him. In his time in Oldtown he had obtained information from all the elements he would need.

His intention was to turn the Umber house and the Dustin house into the main food producers of the North. This was because the Umbers had the last river and the Dustins the Tomb which was excellent for the irrigation work I was thinking about. But although it is true that that would be good enough in the minds of some people that was just a point. With the money of the North, staying in the North would strengthen both houses and at the same time force the creation of roads for the sale of different foods.

Hariric felt that although they had done a lot, the lords of the neck had not been rewarded. As gentlemen of the neck they had defended the door of the North. While it is true that Foso Cailin was there, it was not enough and the guerilla forces were good enough in his mind. However, that was not the only point of course since they were the ones who had fucking problems with the Freys.

The first time he found out about the Freys he was very tempted to drop the equivalent of a bomb in their castles. Instead, what I intended to do was much more efficient and would eventually give him an excuse.

Anyway, it was with effort that he discovered that Rice Grains were sold in Yi Ti. That was excellent. Between rice, beans and other elements resistant to what was the cold hariric knew that the North would strengthen. He also knew that rice could be a much-loved food. In his old world between white rice of three delicacies and paellas were very good to eat and with excellent flavours he would still have to find a way to produce species but he had time for it.

Knowing this had allowed him to discover more things. Glass was a much desired demand and top-quality craft ceramics as well. So hariric was already thinking. There were several houses that could benefit considerably from ceramics. Not the glass since the glass would give more power to the Stark house since it intended to expand the territories of the Stark house.

There were too many places that were not properly exploited and hariric felt that it was better to do so. He also had to find a way to pay for the creation of Minas Moria for the position of the future wealth of Lord Stark and also the reconstruction of the Moat and creation of the North Channel.

Silk was a priority. It is true that the North was not very useful although I was already thinking of using it so that the South can buy it as well as Essos. However, the production of silk would not be easy at all. Silk was an element that in short was a rich element and that required silkworms for its production. Worms that would not survive very cold climates so I had to investigate.

In the process he could investigate more things that are used for clothing but despite that Hariric felt that it was enough for the moment anyway with only silk because there were several more important objectives that had to be given to the Stark family.

However, there were several products that if he wanted to produce especially in the North they would have to be in Winterfell. It is not only referred to the spices but also of course to what was the product that came out of the sugar cane. Two products could be obtained from sugar cane. On one side there was the Ron who was a good baby of course. On the other hand, there was sugar itself. And it was the same with coffee, tea and cocoa. If someone wondered why producing these elements is because of their more than obvious need and the benefit they could be for the North because of the number of people who would buy the product.

Products from the North were a priority. Fortunately with the products it could produce benefits. The main one was the improvement of the structures. Not only because of the need to make better constructions but to make them better for housing. However, what matters most, of course, was the water supply. It was possible to do.

For places like Skagos, Whiteport, Sea Dragon Point, Bastion Kar and Bear Island the solution was very easy. By means of a distillation method (which would make them have to give a small payment to the Stark house of course) these five houses would get seawater. On the other hand, other cities would get it from lakes or rivers such as the Umber del Ultimo, The Dustins of the Tumulos, the Cerwyn of the white knife and those of Torhen from their lake.

With this done I would have eliminated the need for water from all the true vassals of the Stark house. This would also eliminate the neutrals like the Flints of course although it would piss off the houses that were in the red alliance which was excellent in his mind because it would guarantee that they attacked him that it was something he wanted. For what reason? Why would I want that? Because I didn't want enemies at home. It's that simple.

But his thoughts of the enemies closed when he arrived at the place he wanted and saw what he had to see although at this moment he felt a strong amount of anger and rage for the image he had before him.

In front of Hariric was a child. Olive complexion with platinum hair and golden eyes. The boy was exotic. He had felt the magic in the child completely and hariric felt that the boy was obviously a possible candidate to learn magic. I would need a complete understanding to know if I was a Witcher, a sorcerer or a Magus. From what I had seen, most magicians of this era used sacrifices to use magic, which was nonsense of course.

However, what bothered him was that the boy was being harassed by three children, all of them dressed well and elegantly. That meant nobles of course. Hariric couldn't stand that. Nobility Obliges. If they were at the top it was to do a job not to be fucking idiots about it.

It had taken a few days and had discovered that the boy had a little sister. She had inherited the same hair and skin colour as the same even the eyes. The children were twins and Hariric knew that the children must be having a hard time. When he saw one of the children take out a sword and play brave, he can't stand it anymore and took out a stone and threw it into his hand with precision.

Strong enough to release but not so strong as to become a complete projectile. When the stone hit the well-dressed children, they let out a scream and looked at him. The group of children looked at him with anger but he didn't care in the least.

"I understood that it was here in the south where the cavalry was born and yet from what I can say what I see is rather the sample of brainless idiots. Forgive me for saying this but what the fuck do they think idiots are doing?''. Hariric moved forward calmly while watching the children take out weapons obviously from practice. He could see some knights calmly looking around and even saw himself making bets.

Hariric threw them a bad luck curse. If it was so good for them to make bets instead of the right thing, they deserved all the bad things that could happen to them. He was a person of principles. Pragmatic but from the beginning of that there was no doubt.

"Get out of here, you're getting involved in matters that don't matter to you." The youngest who would be about thirteen years old was somewhat terrified of the presence of the other boy. Where he and his friends looked like big children but not muscular, the other boy looked like a person with pure muscle. It was very scary.

But he was the son of a knight of the Hightowers and one of the most important members of the city's Defence so he knew he could get away with it. The other young man looked at him. It wasn't a nice look anyway. It was the look of a person who was thinking about all the ways to break you to pieces and in the worst way too.

"The last time someone told me like that, I tore off their tongue. At least we northerners live with the rule that only the one who in a few words issues a sentence can act. You, however... you are nothing more than a little worthless dog who feels or believes anyway that he has the right to something''. Hariric smiled when he saw the big boy grow furious.

''So a northerner. I've heard about you. Led by a house of worthless dogs or so they say''. The fat boy did not realise that Hariric had mentioned that the last person who insulted him the dict sentence which would mean that he was a gentleman or something for the style. For him, just hearing that he was from the north was a reason and an excuse to insult him. At least that was the plan until he just answered by taking a wooden sword out of a trunk. Everyone mocked even more. Although in practice his swords were made of metal. They were about to mock even more when the Northerner only laughed in a dark way.

"You know one would think that after the lesson of Cregan Stark lord of the North and hand of the king about why the south should not fuck her in his presence he would have thought that the southerners would have learned the lesson. However, what they say is true. Southerners don't learn. Not for good. I guess they'll have to do it the hard way.'' Hariric smiled with a touch of cruelty that made him known in mourning courses very often.

''Shut up Northern trash. I hate the Northerners. Always looking at the southerners as if we were below you. When in reality those at the bottom are you. Those who don't have enough food to live on their own. Those who have nothing of value. You're a complete shit''. The fat boy complained and charged with his sword of practice.

He threw himself thinking that he had everything on his side when a crack sounded and it turns out that Hariric had hit his knee breaking it without thinking twice. The blow was so brutal that the boy fell to the ground screaming in pain and people were no longer having fun watching what was happening obviously everyone knew that there were problems.

"I don't really care what people think. But insulting the only kingdom that resisted the force of the invasion of the Andalusians when they were so fucking outnumbered does not seem right to me. You have to respect people's history. The story they created with blood, sacrifice and pain. People deserve to be properly remembered.'' Hariric hated it when a person thought he could get away with it by belittling other people's achievements. It was an insult in his mind and enough to make him growl with anger.

Like one, the other thugs threw themselves with screams of rage without thinking about what they were doing. They only believed that their anger was justified. What happened was a Hariric who with millimetre precision hit and destroyed his opponents. Anyone who says that a doctor was not capable of killing was a fool. There was a reason for his respect for those with medical education but without oaths in them.

As doctors they knew how and where to hit brutally so in their personal opinion they deserved a worthy respect for their actions. And Hariric saw it that way. He had been trained to kill and it was easy to accurately hit his enemies and he smiled at seeing his current enemies cry on the ground from the pain they felt.

The screams of pain attracted the attention of several knights who were obviously watching everything and pointed their swords at that moment at the boy with the wooden sword. One of the gentlemen let out a scream and threw himself at the fat boy while he clearly saw how he was trying to help him in some way. Fun in the mind of hariric. The platinum-haired boy shrank in fear while looking at everything perfectly. The boy was frightened obviously fearing reprisals. The knight in question who had been looking at his son took out his sword and looked at Hariric with such anger that some would say that he tried to set him on fire only with the power of his mind.

"You're going to pay to assault the son of a Knight from the Hightower." The gentleman was about to do something when he saw that the boy was taking something out. It was a medallion. He looked carefully until he turned pale. Unlike many houses that wore rings there was a house that he preferred to use to obviously make its existence known with what were medallions.

"Your son and his friends were harassing the boy behind me. Let me know something. I understood that the knights were basically the defenders of the weak. Those who protected those in need. They are supposed to be the guardians of those who are not able to defend themselves. However, your son, that is, the son of a knight, had no problem assaulting a child who was unable to defend himself. What does that say about you, gentleman?''. Hariric smiled even more when he saw the gentleman's gaze.

"I doubt very much that's what happened. Possibly you were harassing the child and my son came out to defend him and you defended yourself from them''. The gentleman had to find a way to defend his son by all means.

"Please, seriously? Is this your Defence? What harasses this young man? First, I've never met him. Second I was on my way to the Citadel that as I'm sure you would know if you took your time obviously in learning you would know that I'm here more than anything due to a mistake that the citadel made. At this rate, my idea of the lords of the south is completely going down with total sincerity. Things don't get better for you.'' Hariric could tell that the man didn't look happy.

"Be very careful with what you say boy because if you continue on this path in the end you will be very close to offending the whole South which will not end well for you. I doubt very much that people like in the least to know that the future Stark is seen as someone who sees the south badly because everyone knows the truth about you''. The gentleman tried to sound brave. But the dark laugh of the Stark boy stopped him in his place.

"Please save your threats for a person who can really be scared by them. I am fully aware that while it is true that the south would not like a Lord Stark who looks down to the south. It's not something abnormal. Everyone knows that we northerners don't have the best opinion of the south anyway''. Hariric shrugged his shoulders without understanding the reasons for the gentleman's annoyance but he could see them clearly.

Be careful boy your words and actions could seem like the actions of a person who is obviously against the south and you don't want that. The South is more powerful than the North. You need the south to live and I'm sure there will be many people who will be dying to see the north a little more humiliated''. The gentleman tried to threaten him more when a knife appeared in his throat. Everyone was surprised when men in black appeared at that moment and every gentleman who was there was frightened by the presence they could say was deadly and precise.

"You know you are or must be the most idiotic men in the world. What kind of idiot do you think Lord Stark would let his son leave in any of the ways of the North without adequate protection? The next time you even think about threatening me, think twice. Maybe they'll just cut your throat in the process''. Hariric smiled and saw the fear in the eyes of each gentleman.

"Now I'm going to leave. This young man and his sister will come with me. And seeing that obviously the Hightower house is unable to properly treat the heirs of other houses and that its esteemed masters are incapable of providing an adequate education I will leave here. I've had enough with the shit here''. When Hariric was about to make a move, a bow guard thought he would be able to make a move before an arrow buried himself near where he was causing him to jump in fear. Their dark knights were a form of advanced transfiguration (if you could convert and create lions and other creatures through transfiguration, why not people?) And Hariric turned to look with boredom.

"The attack against a man is a punishable offence. Should I claim your life for that action? Should I claim your very existence? It's not my problem honestly and all he feels is a deep amount of shame for your existence guard. Now I will leave for what I hope no more inconvenience''. Hariric left and the shadow guards surrounded him and the boy while at the same time creating a very capable security position.

He knew that Lord Hightower was not going to endure this offence that's why he had made sure to give him a good reason not to even think again that it was a good idea to annoy him after all he was a man who had a city to lead. How would it look in his name to know that he had a society of slavers in his own city? It wouldn't be nice.

Dareon looked at the man carefully. Her mother had forced herself to come to what this city was not for nothing but for the simple fact that they wanted her dead. She had brought gold with her but it wasn't too much anyway so she had worked like a normal person to get money. It wasn't the best but because of her sister who was now alone in the world she felt that it was the best decision she had actually made.

He looked at Stark and shuddered. The boy had a physical body endowed with muscles and clearly in better shape than most gentlemen. He was a man who looked strong and who looked strong despite his physical twelve years (he had no idea that he was only seven in reality) but there was another very important detail to take into account. The Stark felt strange.

"You know you don't have to feel so bad if I have to say it. I summarise that you find my presence as something strange. Don't apologise, I've actually been told more than once. I'm a complete weirdo and if I have to be honest I like to be. Anyway, I must say that it is a pleasure to meet you.'' Hariric looked at the boy carefully. He had a look that he was watching everything carefully clearly determined by all means to keep the situation under control. I couldn't blame him.

"I don't trust you. You're a stranger and a person I don't know. Okay, I'm going to thank you for saving me from the beating. Those brats should know much better anyway that they shouldn't cause problems but their idiot child minds are those of annoying people''. Dareon looked at the Stark fearing for a moment that he had said something bad. He just looked at him for a moment.

"I guess you're right. That is, you are a child alone in what is a big city. This is the second largest city on the continent. The truth be told is that this city should actually say enough to make it clear that Poniente is a nest of worthless rats that devour everything that is within their reach. Hariric would not lie and would not say in any way that Posientes was a nest of freedom.

"Here I would have thought that you would try to sell me this little kingdom as a wonderful and magnificent place of peace that obviously could be excellent for my family and that if it acted according to you I will have a fixed and safe place in what is the position of power of your kingdom. Obviously all lies but at the same time a possibility if you stop to think about it''. Dareon was a cynical child who had difficulty trusting.

"If I will not deny that you are a possible asset more than impressive, it is not for what you believe. Tell me, have you ever been able to do impressive things that you can't understand? Things that are meaningless?''. Hariric looked at the boy calmly. It was a look that could be translated as his look that he knew a secret and that he was possibly able to know much more than he seemed.

´´I would say it's impossible and what you say is strange. But I can feel it. These men around us are strange. They feel strange. A complete oddity so I forgive if I say it in a direct way but What exactly are you?''. Dareon of course had a well-founded reason to think this way since it seemed strange to him what he felt.

Since I was little I was able to tell when a person was obviously lying or trying something. I could feel it. As a unique instinct. It was strange. I felt things from the Stark. One of them was a feeling of not wanting to cross it but also as if it were someone exciting.

"How interesting if I have to say it. An instinctive ability to obviously be able to feel people or at least feel what they are. It will help you a lot to see the world for what it really is. The world is not a beautiful place as they say, mystical? Unique? Extraordinary? And a little beautiful? Yes. But before everyone it's a cruel place. The gift you have. The main skill you have demonstrated I have to say it could be your main weapon but it's more. There's more''. Hariric was surprised. This boy had developed a minor version of the Mgus View.

"And I guess this is where you will tell me that I need to be trained and that you can give me said training without any problem. I don't want to doubt you and my ability doesn't tell me that you're a bad person and all this shit but at the same time I'm smart enough to know that a person shouldn't be trusted. Even with those who don't have bad intentions''`. His reasons for distrust were with a weighty reason after all. He had to think about his sister. She also had gifts and had had to make a great effort to keep her safe.

"That's smart. A good way to think about it. A good way to conclude things. A question that many must ask themselves. Why? What reason do I have to decide to help you with all things? What reason do I have to be the one who offers you this opportunity and that in the end you don't explode? That shows a very advanced thinking in reality.'' Hariric smiled at the funny boy. He was much smarter than he seemed.

"When you have to make sure that your sister is kept safe and protected by all means, you can't trust anyone's first words. When a person must make sure that the people you love are safe, you must be smart. Cunning and above all willing to do anything''. It was a somewhat exaggerated way of thinking, I wouldn't deny it, but it was the only way I could see things work.

''A good thing. A well-tracked opinion. Don't doubt. Don't be afraid. Do everything necessary to ensure and guarantee by any means that a threat is treated when it is present. But I think that as you yourself have said, I also have magic. A more than magnificent power that in bad hands is capable of destroying and that in the right hands is a magnificent power''. Magic was not a tool. It was something that had to be used wisely.

"I doubt very much that this power is magic. Magic as everyone describes it doesn't work the way I see it. The targaryen lords used magic to command the fire. The Rhoynar used it to manipulate water and cast curses. The first men said they were able to see past, present and future as well as occupy places of animals. Forgive me for saying that it makes me question what you say''. And it was a strong reason for what he was doing.

"It's not really a mistake. However, tell me and answer this honestly. How many people do you know who really know about magic? Look at my soldiers, do you really think this was something taught by these three groups? I discovered it myself with labour, sweat and blood. And believe me when I say I can teach you the same.'' Hariric knew it would be difficult. He would have to look for a good approach for the young man or find a way to use a ritual very similar to his.

The young man looked at Hariric and nodded. An alliance never seen before had been born.
