Capítulo 273: Embezzled Goods

Samar left the office of Administrator Monae with a conditional promise. Elder Maho and Administrator Monae would only support his proposal if he could get the remaining 5 votes before the voting tomorrow, or else they would continue to align with Merchant Gama. 

Administrator Monae had no guarantee that Samar would be able to get the other five votes to achieve a majority. In fact, he was quite vocal in expressing his awe and disappointment towards the influence of Merchant Gama and his Redfox Trading Firm.

He outright told Samar that the Councilmen under Gama would never side with him unless the Archer could provide them better benefits than the Merchant or the latter was embroiled in a scandal, both of which seemed impossible to achieve in the short span of 24 hours. 

Samar was going to visit Herbalist Chima, Ranger Thala and Elementalist King Gunila to secure their support but he changed his plans after exiting the Administrator's office.
