Five months ago, Remox felt like he was at the top of the world. He had ranked 899th among the Deimos' Dreadful Thousand and received an R2 membership offer from the Howling Moon, a prestigious guild ranked 543rd in the Martian Guild Rankings.

Remox had been over the moon. The Weapon Specialist had accepted it gladly and steadily performed well, earning a well deserved R3 membership. Just when he thought R4 membership was not out of his reach, a vicious newcomer like Lunato appeared. 

Lunato had joined Howling Moon two months later than Remox. The Elementalist was ranked just two places above him, at 897th but had risen through guild ranks using his connections and oppressing others.

The chief target of his oppression was obviously Remox, the person who was his rival for the newly opened R4 position.
