In a world where there are literal roving bands of murderhobos, ones who wipe out entire cities for decades on end, the MC falls back on Modern US Law to get an identity. To do so, he decides to set himself in what equates to "Slaver-town" in the worst city in the country. Honestly, the idea for the story is neat, it's well written and descriptions are on the ball. The MC is just a bad isekai protagonist. Really bad. While he supposedly did his research after arrival, all future decisions he makes is as if he were on a sane earth rather than grimderp earth - and he rushes decisions when his circumstances give him buffer time that he ignores. When you don't need food, water or sleep, getting shelter or money doesn't tend to mean much until a storm hits. There was seriously no reason for him to stay in Brockton Bay or even the USA before he made this terrible choice besides plot relevance. From here, the plot seems to be pretty straightforward band-ganger plot. "I'm in a gang, but I just wanna play my music! Oh noes"

I've followed this author for years so I'm pretty sure about the first 3 (Writing quality Stability of Updates Story development) from the little I read the Background of the world seems to have already been well thought out or already existing and made me curious to know more about the Character Design we didn't have time to know how it will be but until now it looks like it will be one mc promisor the only thing that bothers me a little is not knowing anything about this "worm" world and I would also like to know if this "eidolon" is a character from that world or does it refer to the protagonist of meta essense? if anyone has a link to the wiki of this worm I would appreciate it because I searched but I didn't find anything about it. (I wrote using google translate)

I have been with the author since he started Unbound Familiar and i assure you, he is consistent with his update frequency so you wont have to worry about waiting too long for a chapter. All his fanfics have been close to masterpieces and i hope this fanfic is no different.

This story is like a deep hole. The MC is in that hole and the author is pouring trash on his head. And the MC stay in that hole because of his choice or more his lack of will to get things done. He got power where other don't. But he is a slave. Because he got a slave mentality. Dude should kill himself.

pretty good I liked how it's focused on the MC but sometimes I feel like it's too focused on him like I wish we get like every once in awhile or random information or something that isn't really to MC like a hero or something and something funny happened on patrol or somewhere or something across the world but other than that it's pretty cool I just can't wait to find out what his powers are

I haven't read the book yet but from I say the authors name his other book called elder blood Witcher came to mind and that fanfic is dope as h#ll, so I know this new book can't be trash and I have confidence he will finish it. based on the novel I previously stated had at least 900 or more chapters. and extremely good plot and settings.

So I've been following Author-sama's work for a while now. Really enjoy the EBE, SW and UF works, but I'm not too much of a fan of this one. As usual with their work, there's enough spelling and grammar errors throughout to put writing quality down to a 4, but it's still perfectly readable. I simply am not a fan of dark fics to this level. I am sure it will change in time, but I don't think I would be able to read that far through. Maybe for some this isn't that dark, and I do enjoy Worm (the original novel, still reading through it) but I think I know where this is going and I don't think I can read up to and past that point. I would definitely recommend their other series' I mentioned above, but maybe not this one. Still 4 stars total as the rating isn't based on personal opinion of the story, just how I've read so far and grading off of that.
