Capítulo 27: Aino's Business Sense
As Tenshi was making coffee, Mocha stretched on top of the piano, curling up and laying down.
Hinata stroked Mocha's fur happily, "So soft~" Mocha purred happily, her spring-like tail bouncing around as Hinata giggled.
Kakashi was looking at Mocha wondering where this cat came from…
Tatsumaki was sitting down drinking coffee with a sad look on her face. Iguchi comforted her gently. Tenshi sighed, he already put up pictures of the two old ladies from next door.
Tatsumaki had to come out of this herself. It was already a good step that she was out and around. Iguchi sighed and said something to her, making her freeze and look at him in shock, tearing up.
Tenshi smiled gently at this scene, Tatsumaki hugged him and cried bitterly, nodding profusely. Iguchi was thrilled and hugged her tight, before presenting a ring he made himself.
There were only a few people in the cafe right now as it was still early in the morning and a Sunday.
Kakashi clapped gently and Iguchi thanked everyone who was around.
Tatsumaki smiled softly before seemingly making up her mind and sighing. She walked over to Tenshi and smiled sadly, "Boss Tenshi… How much will you pay for my Mother's house?"
Tenshi was stunned and said "Tatsumaki, if you need money, I will lend it to you… You don't have to sell their house like this…" Tatsumaki smiled gently and said "It's not that… I have a home already. I'm going to sell it and live with Iguchi… So really, that house will be collecting dust."
Tenshi looked troubled but Tatsumaki said "Boss Tenshi, Ma told me a long time ago, you asked to buy that house. Instead of sitting around and collecting dust, might as well put it to use… I think that's what she would want. Grandma too." Tenshi sighed and replied "But the memories…" Tatsumaki smiled softly and rubbed her ring, "I'll make new ones."
Tenshi was dazed but smiling softly, "Alright, Tatsumaki. I'll buy it. Is 300,000 Ryo alright?" Tatsumaki touched her lips and Aino trotted over leaning on the counter, grinning evilly, "Makimaki~ Need some help? Don't wanna be swindled by this sissy do ya?"
Tenshi and Tatsumaki were stunned.
Aino waved her finger, saying "Listen girlie, you don't wanna sell for too low! You can really squeeze him dry! The property value for him is worth much more than a casual buyer looking for residential purposes! Tenshi-kun wants to expand the Cafe and make a Terrasse! So, most likely, there won't be a house there anymore!"
She nudged Tatsumaki and grinned, "Plus, you got little gremlins to think about in the future, right? You'll need money! Big time! So this can be a chance to grab this sissy and wring him dry like a wet rag!" Tenshi's lips twitched as he cleaned a cup, muttering "300,000 is a reasonable price…"
Aino sneered at him, "Yeah, for residency! Not for commercial use! Who you think you're foolin?! I been 'round the block!" Tatsumaki looked troubled and asked for advice, "What should I do, Aino-san?"
Aino curled her lips, "Here's the killer. You can raise the price or get some more benefits for your husband over there…" she pointed at the dumbfounded Iguchi in the corner. Tatsumaki looked over as Iguchi blinked, smiling with a wave. Tatasumaki's lips twitched and Aino continued, grabbing her attention, "This can be a chance to secure a strict exclusive Metal Working contract for him! The basic premise is that Tenshi-kun has to think of Iguchi first if he wants something made for the cafe. Exclusively referring to him as his Metalworking smith in the future."
Aino winked at Tatsumaki, "You can even lower the price to 225,000 and add advertising. Think about it, how many people have a Cafetiere at home? Just one logo underneath showing Iguchi's forge name and you're spreading the word to the whole village! If he can make that, then he can for sure make strong weapons! So many ninja above Civilians, and they all need Shuriken, Kunai, Swords, etc."
Tatsumaki gasped and Aino grinned evilly, "You get it, right? Who says that all these stinky sissies can be business owners? We're the brains, right?" as she winked at Tenshi secretly.
Tenshi sighed to himself, Tatsumaki got worked real nice… As expected of a novice… Aino completely worked Tatsumaki around like a doll. Tatsumaki hesitated, "This… should be good?"
Tenshi sighed again and said "I will not be paying lower than 250,000 Ryo. What Aino said is fine." Tatsumaki smiled happily, "Okay, Boss Tenshi. We got a deal." Tenshi pinched her hand with a napkin, shaking it as he smiled "Pleasure doin' business with you."
Tatsumaki smiled happily and nodded before leaving quickly, saying "I'll move all the stuff out." Iguchi walked over, "I'll help." they both left and Tenshi turned to Aino, who leaned on the counter, grinning, "What do I get?"
Tenshi's lips twitched, "I knew it… What do you want…" Aino sighed, flicking her hair "What's that tone? This beautiful lady just helped you pay 50,000 Ryo less!" Tenshi glanced at Kakashi, who sighed and shook his head.
Tenshi turned back, saying "Thank you, Aino-san." Aino laughed evilly, "Now let's talk benefits… I saved you 50,000, I should get the Installation for the Coffee Machine for less, right? Only makes sense to me."
Tenshi looked at her and pursed his lips, "50,000 Ryo, it takes 10 minutes to get to your Bakery from here. Divide it by 10 and that's how much you get off." Aino's lips twitched, "5000… only…?"
Tenshi laughed, saying in disbelief, "I'm literally giving it to you for almost free!" Aino retorted angrily, "I WANT IT FOR FREE! DAMN IT! 10,000 RYO DOWN FOR ME!" Tenshi turned his head in a big circle, signifying him rolling his eyes as he said gently, "The original price is really 60,000 Ryo! I told you I'd sell for 40,000 but give you a discount to 15,000 and you want more?! I have to configure, install, and make the machine by hand! 10,000 Ryo doesn't even cover the amount of water I'll have to drink to replenish the amount I sweat out!"
Aino clicked her tongue, "Damn profiteer…" Tenshi was dumbfounded, laughing in anger, "Me?! You sell a slice of chocolate cake for 1500 Ryo! AND I'M THE PROFITEER!?" Aino growled angrily "This is craftsmanship! Craftsmanship, understand?!"
Tenshi let out a breath, flapping his lips, "Craftsmanship… Maybe Hiruko's…" Aino gasped, "Are you saying that I'm leeching off my husband?" Tenshi squinted and pursed his lips, "That's clearly what you said, right?" Aino grinded her teeth, saying "Alright, you're ruthless! 10,000 Ryo is good!" before stomping off, shouting "Ah! But I want a discount on coffee beans! 50% off! For life!"
Tenshi opened his mouth and she turned her head, "Your life, not mine!" Tenshi clicked his tongue and smiled, "Damn…" Aino grinned and snorted from her nose, sitting down, waving "Hinata-chan! Tell your bastard boss, I want another coffee!"
Hinata looked troubled and turned to Tenshi, who looked at her big watery eyes. He sighed and said softly "I heard her Hinata, it's okay." Hinata smiled happily and said "Okay, B-Boss…" as she held Mocha in her arms, walking around, asking people softly if they wanted anything else.
Tenshi made Aino's coffee and put it on the counter.
Hinata put Mocha down before bringing the coffee to Aino, smiling gently "Here you go, Aino-san. P-Please Enjoy!" Aino pinched her cheek, "You're too cute!" before putting 500 Ryo in Hinata's apron pocket.
Hinata looked troubled and Tenshi's voice sounded, "It's a tip, Hinata. You can keep it." Hinata looked shy, blushing "Well, thank you…" before running away, covering her face.
Aino laughed and sipped her coffee, grinning at Tenshi, who shook his head, muttering "Damn vampire…"
