Dieter slept through the first, faraway and quiet footsteps of the maelstrom, blissfully unaware of anything wrong until he was woken up by alarmed Calvo.

"Something big is approaching, Milordo!" he explained while Dieter rubbed sleepiness off from his face. "I saw a terrible storm, but there's more. The mana flows nearby also became more active. I don't know what it is, but I have a bad feeling!"

The shaved man's eyes were slightly bloodshot with exhaustion and wide with alarm. He tried to keep it from his voice under the veneer of general disdain, but it didn't quite work.

Dieter nodded, not trusting his own voice yet. He wanted nothing more than to close his eyes and sleep some more, but had to gather concentration for divination magic.
