"But mister Reiner," one of those elders protested. "Even if we forget about the sacrilege, isn't it a transgression against the nature of the Blood Trial to just let everyone there at once?"
Reiner waved his hand dismissively. "Don't speak to me again about sacrilege. You aren't a priest to decide what was the Twilight Twins' intention, and what wasn't. As the Clan Head, I declare their deeds are what we must listen for. Their deeds and, of course, their Blessed Ones."
Elders shook their heads and retreated, but their whispers were still audible in the vestibule.
