But something had to be said at last. The shock abated, and Cael could evaluate the situation like it should be.

"Alright," he said. "These don't seem dangerous, although the entire situation…"

A sheep shot to its feet and bleated loudly. Other animals immediately responded with their own calls. The cat jumped to the table and hissed at Cael, pressing its ears to its head.
