Capítulo 256: Hollow to the Bone

I thought about what was technically my first girlfriend.

Right after telling her that I didn't love her, she asked me what I wanted, and something slipped out. The desire to see her being torn open and to see her in pain.

While it may have been the truth, I immediately regretted saying it.

On the other hand, the look on her face almost made her seem enlightened. Right after my statement, she clung to it like that was what would save her life. In a flash, she knocked over a cup holding her various school supplies and got the scissors.

Realizing what she was planning on doing, I immediately grabbed onto her wrist.

"Wait. Stop. I... didn't mean it."

She had the brightest smile I'd ever seen on her face.

"But that's not true. The way you said it... there's no way you didn't."

For some reason, this was when she suddenly became sharp. I took a deep breath and quickly explained myself.
