From the start youre awakened to a dark world no one wishes to be a part of. destroying the fantasy and happiness we will have imagined a pokemon world to be like. Each chapter just makes you more and more sad. by chapter 6 you want to kill yourself and put the MC out of his misery. Nothing good happens, no bright light to hang on to for hope of a better tomorrow. Not an ounce of positivity. Just seems like a big excuse to do what you want and treat people like trash. Also zero interaction with humans cuz they all apparently suck and are all evil. lolol Just don't really see the point of such a story. I see such sadness on the news every day, no need to read it here too.

Greate book. It really takes the pokemon world to a new level of cruelty and shows how a guy without cheats survive. I have been searching for a novel where mc is without a cheat and any kind of mysterious background and amazing bloodline/genetics, just a simple normal person. Simply put, its excellent.

The pokemon fanfic genre is generally oversaturated and filled with similar troupes and ideas (and the very annoying colour potential system). However, This fanfic is a breath of fresh air with the mc character being more focused on the grim and dark tone. The characters so far seem to be well established and likeable. The pokemon choices themselves seems to be more unique than your usually cliche options. The authors experience with writing a past pokemon fanfic really shines here. However, the only major critique I can give is the update stability.

I like the premise of the story very much. It is well executed too. The only downside is that the author urgently needs an editor. His stories always have good ideas and good plot, but the grammar is his weak point. If you are not strict for grammar, and likes reading Pokemon fictions with weak-to-strong, poor-to-rich (or at least self-reliant), and taking advantage of common but useful pokemon, this is your story.

An interesting story with a good beginning and logical growth, although some things seem more than luck, the plot is a bit dark but it has its positive parts later. The entire plot so far revolves around his childhood, so it seems that the story will move slowly until he becomes an official coach.

I dont usually give 5 stars but you nailed it! This fic depicts a sense of realism in a fantasy world. The crule side of humanity that no one wants to admit. So far everything is great about the novel. Hopefully it does not get ruin by dlcking out harem or MC turning into a betta/Simp. keep up the good work!

The fanfic is really good in my opinion. It gives the Pokemon world a more realistic view that not a lot of fanfic does. It is easy to follow and understand what is happening and what the MC’s thought pattern is throughout the story. I wish the author would continue the story but it has been 5 months so I ave little hope, which is sad.
