By far the best novel of the last few cycles. Synopsis sounds generic, but the execution is very well done. Other then eternal life (lifespan, can still die) he has no other cheats. Therefore he has to use his wits (the author uses his wits) to actually win out.

I’ve been seeing a couple of reviews bashing the mc for being to cautious or not having the demeanor of an immortal cultivation and my reply to that is people like that won’ last a second in the cultivation world where a father can kill his child for talent or a mother can sell her child for benefits and keep in mind the mc has the biggest benefit that any cultivator chases that is eternal life, so yes he will hide and take his time, yes he won’t have the demeanor of an immortal cultivator and yes he is for sure not going to get himself killed and refined into a pill just so he can prove he is a big boy that everyone needs to respect and eternal life makes you a hermit by default because all those you care about will die and live you alone so excuse the mc for just chilling in the prison. Now for the proper review: the story is actua quite interesting and has an mc with a good head on his shoulder as well as a not so outrageous cheat which makes it all the more fun to read but the only problem I have with the story is the translation some words I have no idea what them mean because they are in Chinese and I just have to brush past it but I’ some chapters the translator provides the meaning at the end so that good…..well that’s the end of my review. Apologies if it is to amateur

This novel is actually good and different from your typical sign in novel. The mc cheat doesn't really have any utility,it only gives him eternal life. No super cultivation body or technique. He can even die from diseases. Most of the time the mc just acts like a bystander who witnesses the passing of time .

Fast paced without seeming rushed, he can love forever so he isn't in a hurry and remains low key, gets various techniques, the plot is q bit scattered until chapter 20, but I guess that's what happens when the MC can live forever and time rushes by.

At the moment it looks like a slice of life of an immortal, which is observing, learning, becoming stronger with everything at hand, seems pretty reasonable as it is simply not required to take risks, did not look at mtl, but we can expects MC to be forced to act

Thank God it got continued i read this 2 years ago and have been waiting for this to happen or i would have given in and read raws but now thank the heavens, although first 40 ch are kinda slow and might not be the best its better than a lot of novels and has great potential plus it did end near important point now that he is at that level litle more and maybe he will have to switch his job to being protector or soemthing like that

review as of chapter 400, it's actually very nice. if you like cultivating for 1thousand yrs, then you'll probably like this. they're a little similar but the mc here is not as cautious compared to 1thousand yrs. what i really like here is that there's literally no woman here spoiler he can cultivate avatars, and his avatars also has eternal life
