Capítulo 78: Burning down!
Surprisingly, the fire wasn't doing as much damage as it should, most likely because of the fusion of the witch and the plant monsters. Demolus revealed his wings and took to the sky, he bombarded the giant of a monster with flames, but it didn't do that much damage.
While Demolus was trying to do something with the old witch, Kurumu, Moka, and Yuakir were surrounding the young witch.
"We must stop her, we can't let her rampage, she will die at this rate!" Shouted the young witch.
"Alright, calm down Demolus will take care of her, and how about you tell us your name?" Asked Yukari, she was interested in meeting another witch, after all.
"My name is Ruby Tojo, wait you're a witch too, and are you also with the humans? She asked while looking at the small witch.
Ruby has long black hair that is put up in a variety of ways depending on the situation. However, she mostly keeps two ponytails on each side of her head and lets the rest fall naturally. She has black hair, she has what appears to be pink eyes, more as orange-scarlet red. She also has fair skin. She has pin-straight bangs covering some of her forehead, and two pieces of hair fringe or bangs framing her face near the cheeks.
Ruby wears Gothic clothing. Her usual outfit includes a pink corset, a long black skirt with frills at the end, and high-heeled black shoes.
While the girls started a discussion, for some reason, Demolus was trying not to get eaten by the plant monster. Right now, he was using his feast ability to get stronger by eating her emotions and it was working. Demolus decided to stop playing games and get a bit more serious.
He tried to use his demonic energy while creating fire, and it seemed to work, as the flame turned black. He smiled while flying around the monster and tried using it on it. And the results were surprising the flame was devouring the monster without letting it even try to regenerate or resist.

Seeing the new skill, Demolus started using it and the results could be seen instantly, as the flame was burning the monster. The old witch couldn't understand what was happening and started panicking, she just couldn't understand why she felt so much pain when the black fire hit her. But she could feel the disintegration of the plant-like limbs as the fire burned stronger and stronger.
As the old witch was in a panic, Demmolus swooped down and ran his hand straight through her heart. When he did this, he asked the system to take blood from her, but when he saw a spellbook with a gem in the middle, he decided to take it too. The witch started screaming while the plant-like monstrous body was collapsing. Demolus took to the sky before the monster could collapse entirely.
Demolus saw the girl and landed just beside them. The moment his feet touched the ground, he was hugged by Moka Kurumu and Yukari. He thought that being hugged by girls was great, as he grouped Kurumu's butt. To which she responded with a kiss on his cheek.
The girls were worried but Kurumu was the first to calm down after he had groped her butt. She realized that he must be fine if he was doing this. Moka, on the other hand, started telling him all about how worried she was and how reckless he was. Yukari just enjoyed being hugged.
Ruby, on the other hand, ran to the plant monster, to see if her mentor was still alive. She had no idea what to do, after all, she wanted revenge because some human had killed her parents while driving. But after Moka and the other girls talked to her, she didn't know what to do anymore. They explained to her how the killer most likely is already being punished by the authorities and more.
As Ruby reached the monster, which was burning with black flames. Tears started to roll down her cheeks, while she watched her former mother figure, a teacher being, devoured by the black flames. She fell to her knees and cried while watching the flames burn the last remains of the old witch.
Soon after, Demolus and the girls came to the place where she cried her eyes out. Moka, Yukari, and Kurumu hugged her to bring her at least some sort of comfort, relief. Demolus looked at them but only absorbed the sadness while using the feast ability, which helps, and she started calming down.
Ruby knew that the moment the old witch used the magic of combining with other elements/creatures she'd lose herself and end up dying anyway, even if she knew all this, it didn't make it any less painful either.
Demolus could hear the engine of the school bus, he looked towards it and opened his status to see how it changed.
