Kyran could not help but frown at Osric's behavior. Kyran took the initiative to show himself, but Osric did not seem hell-bent on making the first move.

From the latter's attempt at an idle chat, it was apparent he was buying some time, and as to why he would do that, Kyran had not figured it out yet. 

At the moment, Kyran did not sense any odd movements from the mages standing behind Osric. There was not even a trace of ill intent from them. It was as if they had given up their free will and resolved to follow Osric's lead no matter what.

Kyran's frown deepened as a thought crossed his mind. Could it be that their lack of ill intent had something to do with what they were planning? Regardless of the truth, he had a bad feeling about it.

"Cat got your tongue, new Dark Sage?" Osric asked with a sneer.
