Capítulo 13: Chapter 11 Setting off

And so I laid down the core rules for them to follow. I'll add more of them as time passes but for now, these are good. As soon as I'm done with that…

Rimuru- "Right. Rigurd, deal with everything! I'm counting on you!"

Rigurd- "Y-yes, Sir Rimuru!! I promise you that I, Rigurd, will devote myself body and soul to…"

He continued to make a big speech out of it but honestly… I just don't wanna do any work. Procrastination at its finest.

Right, so now we just have to deal with the housing and clothes. I could just make them easily with my [Limited Creation], especially since my magicules are infinite, but… I don't wanna keep doing that.

Yes, I can just make them now and we'll all be happy. But what happens when more people arrive? I would have to make more clothes and buildings. And when even more arrive, I have to make even more!

I could teach other people as well. When I make something, I don't need to understand how they work. I don't know how a road roller works, but I could still make it. I could even make a really high tech computer. Many more things are possible to me as well. As long as I can imagine it, I can make it.

Yes, I can make a giant meat bun. It's that overpowered.

What's even crazier is that I get knowledge on HOW those things are made as well during their creation process too. Whether I can make heads or tails of it is another story, however. Like, you can't tell a human from medieval times things like quantum physics and expect them to understand.

(A/N: I can't understand quantum physics either…)

The same thing for me, I can make some really crazy stuff, but whether I understand it or not is a different matter.

But houses are easily within understanding. And I could teach them how to make houses, but…

*Looks at the shelf*

Yeah, I can't teach for the life of me. I even thought of making golems to make things automatically, but… I don't want golems to deal with every problem of mine. If I have golems, I only want them to be a labour force. And so, that doesn't exactly solve my problem either.

I don't want to do ANY of that. Therefore, I will get someone else to do that for me. It's time to meet the dwarves.

So I told Rigurd about my decision. Do you know what he said?

Rigurd- "Sasuga Rimuru-sama."

Omg, he said the thing.

Anyway, once I told him about wanting to go to the Dwarven Kingdom, he immediately started preparing. Not that there was much to prepare in the first place. Just some camping supplies, food, and some escorts. Honestly, I could just get there myself with Ranga, but then I realised… I don't know exactly where it is.

It was mentioned that you can find Dwargon if you just keep heading towards the mountains in the distance, but… Yeah, that's not exactly an accurate landmark. I mean, those mountains stretch on for a while.

So yeah, I need a guide. And I know a good guy to guide me…

Gobta- "Eh? But I don't really want to…"

Rimuru- "I'll give you a meat bun."

Gobta- "I'll do my best!"

And thus, I got my guide. Gobta looks exactly like he did in the series so it was easy to find him. The only problem was convincing him to guide me there.

That was a lie, by the way. It wasn't a problem at all. It seems he has his priorities straight. By the way, he was the first goblin I healed with a healing meat bun, the one that was screaming "All hail Meat Bun-sama" before.

What a promising lad. It was implied that Gobta was a hidden genius in the series, it seems it hasn't changed in this parallel world.

And so, the next day, everything was ready. There was me, Ranga and a few other goblins with their wolves including Gobta and Rigur, Rigurd's son, all ready to leave along with our luggage. We also don't need to worry about money since, although they don't have many, they do have some coins. I just had them show me one of each coin and I just made some more using my [Limited Creation] skill and some dirt.

What's that? What about the economy? Isn't what I'm doing illegal? I mean, probably. I don't give a fuck though. *Laughs in slime*

Do slimes have their own languages? I don't think they even have a consciousness in the first place, do they? Furthermore, they can't see or hear normally either…

Oh well. Just before I hop onto Ranga to set off, I turned back to look at everyone else. They're all looking happily at me and waving me goodbye. It's going to take a little under a week to make the full trip, at least without any interruptions, but even so… I feel a little bad leaving them like this.

So, I quickly turn around (mentally, because I look the same from all sides) and use my [Limited Creation] skill. This will be the biggest usage of this skill to date.

*Rumble*

I channel the skill into the ground, causing it to shake a small bit. Not even a second later, structures start rising from the ground, forming themselves into neat rows of tents.

It's nothing concrete, it's just temporary lodging, but it'll do. Hopefully, this will make their nights better. I know I just said I didn't want to do this, but cut me some slack.

Though…

*Looks at goblins kowtowing to the tents*

Arent, they overexaggerating?

And so, we set off. One thing, however… these wolves are fast as fuck boiiiii!

No, seriously though, I'm currently using my [Sticky Thread] skill to tie myself to Ranga. I would get blown off otherwise. I mean, he's not exactly shaking, it's a rather smooth ride if I had to say anything. Surprisingly so even. And with his impossible fluffy fur, it's very hard for me to 'bounce' off. But I might get blown off instead. Should they normally be able to move this fast?

<<Report. Due to having an infinite amount of magicules, more magicules than needed were used in the naming process, and thus the named monsters are stronger than usual.>>

Huh… DON'T LEAVE OUT IMPORTANT BITS OF INFORMATION LIKE THIS!

But anyway, these guys are stronger than their canon selves? That's good then. There's no such thing as too MUCH power… Wait…

*Thinks about Milim and Shion*

Yeah, maybe too much power is a little… Should I nerf them…? I mean, I could make bracelets with rune sequences that will seal their power away unless I want to remove them…

Nah. That makes me sound too controlling. I'll just let them be. I KNOW I'll regret this, but I'll leave that to the future me.

Procrastination.

But yeah, these blink wolves are fast! More consultation with [Great Sage] and its analysis tell me that they're using their space attribute on their paws to make themselves move a further distance than they usually would.

Holy crap they can do that!? Can I do that too?

<<Affirmative.>>

Holy shiet.

Anyway, with their natural stamina and this technique of theirs, the wolves could literally run to Dwargon without rest. I'm not letting them though, I made them rest during the night.

And so tomorrow, we'll arrive at Dwargon.

Capítulo 14: Chapter 12 Gates

It's currently dusk. The sun is going down and casting a beautiful orange glow on me and my group. The river we're following is sparkling under the setting sun. the sounds of the river as it calmly flows enter our ears and the wind rustles the grass, making a refreshing scent…

Yeah fuck this I don't wanna write this poetic shit. *Dabs*

The sun is currently going down and my group stopped to set up camp for tonight by the river. That's it.

We're over halfway to Dwargon so we'll get there by tomorrow afternoon at the latest. We could have gotten there by late tonight, but we decided it's good to take a rest here. We're not sure if they let people in at night, after all.

The hobgoblins put up tents and stuff for themselves while the wolves can just sleep anywhere. As for me, well, they have this really big tent for me but… I can't sleep.

I mean, they know I can't sleep as well, but they brought it because they said "just in case you want a place to stay the night".

So I used [Universal Sense] to scout a good camping location a few meters away from the bank of the river. Once we arrived, I called Ranga over. I need to make sure of one thing…

Rimuru- "Ranga. I'm the guy who killed your father. Do you hate me for it?"

It's the same question OG Rimuru asked. Ranga turned into a very loyal subordinate to Rimuru, but this is an alternate world. I don't know what things are the same and what things are different. If Ranga had more of an attachment to his father than his original counterpart, then, as much as I would hate it…

I'll need to nip this threat in the bud.

Of course, I don't expect him to outright tell me his revenge plan, but monsters are very honest by nature. He will at least show some signs that he's lying, so…

Ranga- "… I… do have thoughts about it every now and again."

Rimuru- "…"

Ranga- "But… You didn't kill anyone. You pressured us so we could surrender without any casualties, and you only killed my father because you had no choice. Furthermore, you gave him such a glorious death too!"

It indeed was a glorious death.

Ranga- "You gave us names and a place to stay. I… sometimes wonder what would happen if I turn my fangs onto you. But the moment I think such things, I feel a strong sense of rejection. I don't want that. Therefore I will follow my instincts. I will forever serve you, Master!"

Rimuru- "… Pu… Hahaha! Is that so! Then all is well. I look forward to working with you, Ranga!"

Ranga- "I as well, Master!"

Ranga is telling the truth. It seems he hasn't changed. That's good. And besides, his tail is creating a local gale, it should be fine… I think we should help get the tents back that were blown away.

Rimuru- "Ranga, control your tail."

Ranga- "Apologies Master…"

And so, they slept. Meanwhile, I played some games on a phone I made using my [Limited Creation] skill to pass the time. Minecraft, to be exact. I made a meat bun update as well and now there's an Ender Bun final boss.

What? I have the skills, and I'm gonna use them. I'm not gonna hold back on my entertainment just because this is a different world.

The night passed and we quickly continued our journey with Gobta continuously pointing in the general direction. And like that, before noon, we arrived at our destination.

Right now, we're at the edges of the forest and ahead of us is a vast plain. Further from that and currently what I'm looking at right now is a mountain, and chiselled into it is the Armed Nation of Dwargon, a natural fortress.

Right, now I have to decide on who to take with me. Should I take Gobta? Or someone else? Should I take Ranga with me? Hmm…

Rimuru- "Right, I'll just go alone."

I know generally what will happen, so it's not like I need a guide for whatever will happen inside, so I don't really need Gobta.

Rigur- "We can't let that happen, sir! You need a guard!"

Rimuru- "It'll be fine. Besides, I'm stronger than all of you guys combined. If anything, you'll be the protection target."

I sound a little mean there but I really want to shake them off.

Ranga- "… Very well, Master. We will wait for you here."

Yosh! I get to go off on my own! I'll have to experience that Night Butterfly place too, and now I don't have to make excuses for whoever's with me…

Rimuru- "Then, I'm going on ahead! If something happens I'll let you know with [Thought Communication]. Hide and don't let yourself get caught by humans!"

I mean, if they get caught they're just gonna have to run away. So I warn them about that and start walking/bouncing off to the giant gate I can see in the distance.

After 10 minutes or so, I find myself at the end of a large line leading into Dwargon's gates. And it's FUCKING long.

(A/N: That's what she said.)

Should I just use [Lord's Ambition] and knock them all out to get a free pass in?

???- "Hey! Hey, check it out, there's a monster out here! We can kill 'em, right? We aren't inside yet."

Oh, fuck me.

???- "Yeah, what the hell are you guys standing in line for? You think we're gonna letcha do that, you little runts? Gimme your spot before we kill you! And leave your crap there, too, all right? Then we'll letcha go!"

The other people around me look in my direction before seeing them and looking the other way.

I turn around to see a duo of thugs. I was hoping they wouldn't exist, but… Oh well. It's good to face slap some mobs too. Even though they're not really important people.

I look around me and voila, there are also 3 other guys waiting further back, looking in this direction. These guys would harass me and since I'm a monster, no one else would stand up for me. When I finally fight back, their friends standing back would jump in and I'd be the one in the wrong.

Hmm, should I do things like Rimuru and beat these guys up? I could also use this chance to get inside quickly and skip this line by being taken in as a prisoner. I'm not sure if I could get my Full Potion to the dwarf brothers Garm, Dold and Mildo after they were injured by the Armorsaurus. It was the guard that took it to them in the first place.

Hmm…

A/N: Ok so it seems a lot of you guys want want either Milim, Shizu or Mikoto to be the love interest. Im going with Mikoto on this one.

MC: But what about Shizu or Milim then?

AN: Aha, so here's the thing. For Milim, I'm not sure. Some of you guys suggested taking her as a sister, but we'll have to see. As for Shizu... what if I let her live, but without her memories? Like, make her a new being, sort of thing?

MC: Why the hell would you do that?

AN: I mean, she lived a shit life, so...

MC: Hmm...

AN: So I'll do it like this then. No poll, it's already confirmed. See you tomorrow.

Let me know if I missed anything!
