Capítulo 46: Uzushiogakure Destroyed
Six years passed since Mito and Hanzo were born making it the year 176. The Uchiha Massacre never happened because Yone exterminated Root in the past which antagonized the Uchiha Clan until it wanted to rebel against the village forcing Itachi to kill them all.
Obito also didn't approach Konoha because of what happened when Naruto was born. He seemed to be more interested in Kirigakure at the moment.
Yone's trio was trying to unite Ame to end the infighting by creating Akatsuki. It was a movement that Yone was keeping his eyes on since Suna, Iwa, and Konoha weren't looking at it with good eyes but were trying to take advantage of the situation since the creators came from Konoha.
Iwa and Suna could see it as an insurgence of Konoha trying to make Ame part of Konoha again while Konoha had to declare the trio as Missing-nin putting a bounty on their head.
Yone wasn't happy about his son-in-law's decision but he understood it since he was doing it for the best of his people and not for his family.
Yone was looking after his younger twins which aren't identical like his older twins, Mito having inherited the Uzumaki hair while Hanzo inherited his mother's light blond hair.
Mito looked like a young Tsunade while Hanzo looked like a young Yone making most laugh thinking that someone must be playing them a joke because of the mixed-up hair.
They were learning faster than his other children going by Hanzo achieving to enter Sage Mode naturally while Mito learned her mother's taijutsu as if it was nothing at the age of three.
Yone was quite proud of them as he was with his other children since everyone seemed to have some talent in the family. The only person feeling inferior in his family was Shizune thinking that she wasn't fitting in this powerful family until Yone began to train her in Haki for the last three years making her attain quite a mastery over the only weapon against a Logia Devil Fruit user.
Tsunade also adapted quite fast to the Op-Op Fruit as it was a learning progress for her because she followed Yone's advice which was learning by doing.
The world seemed quiet from inside the village but everyone knew that on the outside hell could break out at any given moment. Yone was keeping his eyes on everyone he cares about so nothing would happen to them.
Mito ate the Love-Love Fruit while Hanzo ate the Sand-Sand Fruit. It didn't give a favor to Yone who had to create a field of sand in his precious garden so Hanzo could learn to use his new ability while worrying that Mito has inherited her mother's gambling addiction going by how she acts like her mother when she is holding a big bundle of money in her hands.
Hina was still in a relationship with one of Isohei while Hana separated herself from Shikasaki after a fight they had two years ago. Hana seems to want to have more freedom in her relationship making Yone scratch his head after hearing such a thing.
Hori got rejected by his crush and was now dating an Uchiha named Mizuki. Mizuki is one of Hori's team members making it obvious why they got together in the first place.
Naruto is in the academy being taught what it means to be a Shinobi while being tutored by his aunts and uncle privately at home. Yone didn't teach anything to Naruto since Naruto hasn't asked for his help yet.
It was now that Kushina asked Yone to seal the Kyuubi into Naruto. Yone was against it at first not wanting Naruto to carry the Nine-Tail inside him until he got a bit older.
But Kushina was quite determined to get her will through as she went to Minato to get his help with her seal while Yone is outside the village.
Yone was outside the village because he hadn't heard anything from Uzushiogakure over the last two years or better said he didn't hear anything from his granduncle Igari.
Igari was an old fossil of the Uzumaki Clan compared to the rest of the Clan members living in Uzushiogakure but he would at least write to Yone once every two to three years trying to keep tabs on each other but it has been five years since Igari nor anyone else to inform him of the death of Igari to not worry Yone about Igari not writing him any longer.
Yone arrived at the entrance leading to Uzushiogakure when he got a bad feeling. All the Fuinjutsus protecting the entrance to the village were deactivated instead of being active, ready to protect the village from intruders.
Yone rushed through the entrance before coming face to face with the cruel reality, Uzushiogakure was gone. He only found ruins before him of what used to be Uzushiogakure.
Yone walked through the ruined village seeing shadows of the past from when he visited as a teenager. He reached the former house of Igari which seemed to be where the last stand-off between both sides took place.
"Igari," says Yone sad as he takes the corpse of his granduncle into his arms.
It was only bones and rotting flesh which was feasted on by worms and crows. Yone buries a grave for Igari and the other Uzumakis that died in the slaughter before looking for evidence to find out who it was that killed the whole village.
But he found nothing except for a Kumo head guard which could have been left behind to make Yone attack Kumogakure. He then entered the ruin of the Uzumaki Castle and walked to a wall that was still standing.
He places his hand against it before putting a seal on the wall which opened a secret entrance in the ground before Yone. Igari would always tell Yone about it just in case something were to happen and everyone needed to flee Uzushiogakure.
Yone walks the stairs down and finds himself in a secret room full of scrolls belonging to the Uzumaki Clan in which all their secrets are hoarded Yone takes one of his scrolls out and seals everything inside of it before leaving the secret room again.
Yone then gathers a huge amount of chakra in his hand creating a giant Rasengan before using it to level the ruins making everything disappear.
Afterward, he put up a memorial in the middle of the wasteland and put the Uzumaki Clan emblem on it before placing a Fuinjutsu on it to protect the memorial and the former village from intruders that want to scavenge the rest that is still left.
Yone then returned home only to find Tsunade looking over Kushina as she was tossing and turning around on their bed.
Yone rushed over toward Tsunade's side and asks, "What happened to her?"
"She didn't listen to you and tried to extract the Kyuubi to put it in Naruto with the help of Minato and Jiraiya. As you can see it wasn't as successful as they wanted it to be," says Tsunade as her palms were covered in green chakra trying to lessen the pain Kushina was feeling.
Yone puts his hand against Kushina's belly trying to see what was going on inside of her body when he finds himself face to face with two Kyuubies that were fighting each other for dominance inside of Kushina.
Yone removes his hand and says grimly, "We have no other way."
He clones himself and orders the clone to bring Naruto to him while he prepared the unsealing of one of the Kyuubies while strengthening the seal over the other.
"What is happening to her?" asks Tsunade worried since Kushina was Yone's oldest.
"Minato and Jiraiya thought that it was a good idea to go behind my back to unseal the Kyuubi out of Kushina. It is quite simple to unseal the seal I give it to them but the seal is protected by another seal that will protect the host and the tailed beast inside of them. It needs time to unseal the tailed beast and you need to have a lot of Chakra to do so as well since you need to overpower the tailed beast," says Yone as he took Kushina's hand and began to use the healing palm as well to help his wife control Kushina's pain.
"But why is she in pain if the seal should protect the host and tailed beast?" asks Tsunade as the scene before them wasn't making sense with what Yone just said.
"She is in pain because the Kyuubi split in two and they are fighting each other over the dominance of the little realm they call theirs," says Yone as he lets go of Kushina's hand again before beginning to prepare to unseal the seal placed on Kushina.
The clone soon after arrived with Naruto. He puts Naruto who was sleepy beside Kushina and Yone began to extract the Kyuubi from Kushina. Yone needed to overpower two tailed beasts at the same time making it a lengthy process until one of the Kyuubies was sealed inside Naruto while the other was still sealed in Kushina.
Kushina felt the pain go away that was tormenting her and Tsunade sighs in relief because it was finally over when she asks, "How was your trip to Uzushiogakure? Is Uncle Igari still alright?"
Yone only smiled at her with a sad smile before saying sadly, "Igari is dead and Uzushiogakure is gone."
"That can't be, Konoha would have done something if Uzushiogakure is under attack. We have been allies almost our entire life," says Tsunade shocked when Yone puts his finger on her lips.
"Not so loud or you will wake the two," says Yone talking about Kushina and Naruto in a soft tone before removing his finger and kissing Tsunade.
She returned the kiss before Yone says, "I will need to talk to Minato and Jiraiya about what happened today. And I will need to scold Kushina once she is awake. She could have died if I hadn't returned home but instead continued my investigation on who slaughtered the people of Uzushiogakure."
"Do you think it is the person that tried to infiltrate Konoha eleven years ago?" asks Tsunade worried as she heard what happened on the day Naruto was born.
"It could be but I might need to investigate it more closely before giving my final thoughts on this matter," says Yone as they leave the room letting Kushina and Naruto rest.
