"Third POV"
The party from uzushio were stunned by the nonchalance showed by their defender. Fighting against three kages of major villages and not even breathing heavily.
'It's like a game to him.' the Uzukage thought.
Seeing Shikyo heading toward them, the shinobi from uzu went forward to meet him halfway as a sign of respect. They bowed their head to Shikyo who waved their greetings and said," No need to be so dramatic guys. just treat me like a normal citizen of the village." the uzu party was about to refute his words but he added,
"As long as you have respect in your heart. I will know your intentions so don't be a kill joy and try to live a little."
The Uzukage and the jonins were quite pleased. They applauded his victory against the army. But Shikyo just looked at them with a twinkle in their eyes," Oh! did you think I was the one fighting right now?"
The residents of uzu became confused. They saw him fighting earlier but now he was saying it was not him. They all became doubtful of his statement.
"What do you mean Shikyo Sama? wasn't that you who was fighting earlier?" a jonin presented what was in all of their minds.
"Nope! that was only a clone if I got involved myself that would be overkill I think? anyway so I didn't participate in this clash after those fireballs, I was enjoying the show form there like you guys." Shikyo answered." Now that I think about it, I should have brought some popcorn with me. would have been like Netflix and chill kinda thing?"
The Uzukage exclaimed out," I don't know what this Netflix is but what you say is impossible. a clone will be dispelled with a heavy hit, on top of that, it was even using chakra intensive jutsu. It would not have been able to fight all those kages as a clone only inherits a part of user's abilities." He paused for a second,"Unless…"
Shikyo already knew what conclusion the Uzukage had reached. He gave a devilish grin,
"Unless......?"
The Uzukage widened his eyes and looked at Shikyo. 'This monster.'
"NO THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE!!"
"YOU CANT BE THAT POWERFUL"
'Uhh, did he snap?' Shikyo thought seeing the Uzukage flip out. Even the jonins surrounding him were also looking at the Uzukage oddly.
"You sure?" Shikyo asked the Uzukage who shook his head in affirmation.
"Then tell me this? why haven't they invaded your village for all the time we have been chatting." He stopped for a moment to let them process this and then continued again," should you not feel them attacking the barrier when there is no one blocking their path?"
The group except Shikyo pondered on this question.
'What he said is right! with no one to interfere in their plan. the enemies should have been attacking the barrier by now. The army left before the kages so they had a lot of free time for this. then why haven't they?"
Their head was spinning thinking this. So Shikyo clapped his hand, drawing their attention.
"Alright! no need to be so hard on yourself. this war is already over. I'm just playing with them for some fun. you should get all the villagers to the east side of the wall to enjoy the show. they won't be affected by the fight if they are inside the village walls."
The uzu group just gave up thinking. they already knew the answer but refused to consider the option. They decided that the outrageous guy who had become their ruler was a freak of nature and went along with it. Now that he had suggested to have the villagers enjoy the shinobi fight. They could put up some stand and show up the civilians how powerful shinobi fights get.
'Maybe we can entice them to join shinobi program as well? it has been decreasing since the life in uzu was peaceful.' The Uzukage thought up a scheme.
seeing the evil glint in uzukage's eyes, the jonin backed away slightly. Shikyo just laughed at all of them.
'These guys are good people. having such fun times with each others. the world is surely a better place with them in it.'
The Uzukage came back to his senses quickly and saw the reaction of his jonins. He embarrassedly coughed in his hand and spoke," Shikyo Sama, I will follow through as you suggested."
The rest laughed at his reaction.
"Hey it's not funny you guys, I'm your kage you can't laugh at me like this!" He shouted at his laughing subordinates.
"Yes yes! As you say Uzukage Sama." The jonins croaked out between their gasps. Shikyo decided to ignore their antics and left the vicinity.
But before he left he gave the Uzukage a tag which will teleport the villagers in the central plaza without expending their chakra. He then shunshined to his clone who was in the middle of curb stomping the kages.
The clone noticed the original appearing in the back so he performed a substitution to stand next to Shikyo. The three kage were shocked seeing two of the enemy. Not being able to wrap their head around what was happening they retreated to where their army was sleeping cautiously.
"Do you think you can intimidate us by making a clone? what can a clone do to us anyway when you are barely countering us?" the raikage taunted. He was mostly trying to fish for info, checking whether the enemy was making a secret move to use some kind of powerful jutsu.
"Hnn! did you say something?" Shikyo gave kakashi's favourite phrase while cleaning his ear.
The raikage being the musclehead he is, grew tick marks all over his face. The mizukage and kazekage looked at him pitifully seeing him played like a kid.
The raikage ignored both and angrily shouted," I said your clone will be as useless as you, you piece of shit!"
"Oh you mean this clone?" Shikyo dispelled the clone. The trio were stunned into silence.
The opponent they were fighting tooth and nail was just a clone. The humiliation they felt at the moment was indescribable. The clone was so strong they couldn't even imagine how strong the original was.
The three nidaime kages now knew they wouldn't survive this fight. They decided that if they were going to die anyway they will give their allies to escape. They all looked at each other, understanding flashing in their eyes, they nodded their agreement.
Shikyo seeing the kage prepared to die decided to scare them a little,
'He he he! time to bullshit my way in'
" Ahem, you now realize how powerless you really are don't you? to tell the truth, I could have finished you all off when you were discussing the plan to invade uzu but I felt you needed a lesson. so I allowed you to execute your plan. you all were just playing in the palm of my hand."
The three kage silently planned while Shikyo monologued.
''Hey hey these guys are thinking of me as a bad guy here!'. He complained in his heart.
"Do you think I don't know your plan? what you think you will be able to buy time for your friends to escape?" Shikyo teleported to a mark his clone put on raikage's body, he appeared Infront of raikage and gave a little cut on his cheek. before he could react to the attack, Shikyo teleported back to his own position.
The raikage who was only one who could match shikyo's speed now dispaired. He solemnly stood still not answering shikyo's question. the kazekage and mizukage also stood quietly beside him. All three of them were trying to think up any method to stop Shikyo.
Shikyo was feeling bored.
' should not have told them that. now they are not even doing anything.'
He felt the uzu residents standing over the wall surrounding the village. Now he needed to put on a show, if they all stood still like this Shikyo won't be able to show off his power atleast some of that.
He addressed the opposing kages," Well now that you have no choice. how about this, I will let you show me a final effort. If you can give me a challenge, I will let your subordinates live." he mused," No they will be sent back for a ransom anyhow, so how about I will allow you to live for a week and return to your village to prepare your successors.Then I will come to reap your life."
The three kages faces lit up while the uzushio shinobi were confused.
"Why is he giving the enemy a chance to attack? Would it be better to end them all?"
The Uzukage questioned his motive for giving this chance to enemy. kyoshi turned to the village and replied," Silence! I'm just giving them a chance you would have been yearning for! Would you have been won if I wasn't here? even if you won how many would die and how many would have suffered? Imagine yourself in their places and think about your village. Rise above your enemies and live proudly."
The crowd was silent. they all thought how their life would have been or even be alive for that. They survived because of shikyo's presence. Everything used as safety measures were all provided by him. He became their safety net and saved them from the calamity. Now he was giving them a chance to clear their conscience. They all made up their mind and decided to become better than the enemies they faced currently.
"Give them a chance!!!" was being chanted by the crowd.
The nidaime kage of opposing villages lowered their head in shame. The same village which they decided to exterminate were giving them a chance to save theirs. The uzushio when they got an upper hand decided that the life of innocent from opposing village should not have to suffer.
Shikyo smiled at all of the villagers. The Uzukage looked at the shinobis below him and ordered them to arrest the enemies.
"These captured shinobis will be treated as prisoners of war and will be sent back to respective village for a ransom." he declared.
The three kages stood silently without interfering. they could not interfere even if they wanted to with shikyo's eyes looming over their head.
Shikyo woke up all of the enemy army and got them caught up with the incident. The allied shinobis all looked to their kages who nodded their head. The allied shinobi silently cried for their kages.
With everything settled, Shikyo ordered the kages to start.
"You can use everything at your disposal. If you kill me you all will go Scot free. but if you don't give me a good fight you can say goodbye to you necks." Shikyo menacingly threatened the opponents.
The kages nodded their heads and prepared their chakra to perform their powerful jutsu. The kazekage summoned a large mountain of golden sand, the mizukage summoned his giant clam summon who could use mirage like genjutsu. He also used his infinite explosion jutsu in the form of a bloated version of himself. The raikage used his lightning armour enhancing his reflexes. He also began to rapidly form handsigns to use a jutsu.
"Come" Shikyo ordered.
As soon as he said this the raikage threw the 'Electromagnetic murder jutsu' at him which he side stepped. The river of sand converged on him over his head trying to bury him underneath but Shikyo appeared behind the kazekage and kicked him with with so much power, that the kazekage flew back breaking few trees.
The technique of mizukage converged toward him and exploded in a burst of scalding steam and shockwave but kyoshi was long gone by then. He covered his hand in sparks of lightning and slammed it on mizukage. the mizukage tried to dodge him but the arm reached him. Just then the mizukage was saved by timely interference of raikage who appeared behind Shikyo and tried to kick the side of his head. Kyoshi caught the foot and slammed him on top of mizukage. the raikage opened his mouth in silent scream while the mizukage was shocked by the lightning armour.
Shikyo retreated to give them time to breath.
"Hmm, this is disappointing. is this all you have got? " Shikyo taunted the kages. the captured shinobis raised their voices screaming insults at Shikyo but a glare from him made them shushed silent.
The kazekage who had recovered formed few handsigns and breathed a mist of poison but kyoshi just lighted it on fire. the mist exploded, the kazekage barely got out of the blast zone and quickly attacked Shikyo with his sand tendrils trying to get a hold of him.
Shikyo dodged the tendrils effortlessly. but he was impeded by raikage who speeder infront of him and engaged him in a hand to hand combat. Shikyo blocked his attacks simultaneously dodging the sand. the mizukage who was still sparking with lightning got up and tried to prevent his escape route with his new water dragon jutsu.
The three kages attacked him in coordination and working flawlessly. Covering each others back and attacking Shikyo as well. But it was all for naught as they could not land a single hit on Shikyo.
Shikyo seeing the stalemate they were in, decided to push them more. He cut off the point of contact of sand with a quick wind blade and blew the disconnected sand with 'great breakthrough jutsu'.
The kazekage now the sand was not in his control tried to run damage control with quick 'wind style: wind cutter technique'. but it was all for naught, Shikyo blocked the attack with a wall of rock and kicked the kazekage in the chest, breaking few ribs in the process.
The kazekage groaned in pain and flew back smashing his back on a boulder. Kazekage was saved by timely substitution of mizukage who splashed on the rock without taking any damage.
Now that both mizukage and kazekage were out of the equation, the raikage was alone in fighting Shikyo. He quickly retreated and used 'storm release: Lazer circus jutsu'. Shikyo avoided the attack by substituting with random debris in the surroundings. Shikyo then appeared behind the raikage punched his gut making him throw up blood and sent him toward the other two kages.
The raikage quickly wiped the blood on his lips. He took out a scroll and summoned a relic of sage of six path,' Bashosen' or simply 'the Banana palm fan'. the fan could virtually release any of the five elemental changes on a mental command. but the downside is the chakra was consumed at astonishing rate. So the raikage now nearing the end of his bag of tricks brought out the fan.
He quickly used the fan to release a wave of fire but for Shikyo who had mastered fire manipulation to highest degree, it was nothing. Shikyo released a bit of fire nature chakra and sliced the attack in half with him in the middle.
The mizukage then suddenly attacked him with the steam clone. Shikyo fed up with single attack cut up the clone and scattered the water with quick wind jutsu.He appeared behind mizukage and pulled him in the genjutsu world, while the body collapsed in a heap.
The kazekage was also pulled in right after and his body was deposited together with mizukage.
The raikage now being the final one remaining decided to finish this with his final trump card.
He unsealed 'Kohaku no johei' Or 'The amber purifying pot'.
'Oh! bijuu is coming I think, which one will it be Gyuji or matatabi?' Shikyo mused looking at the treasure. Shikyo was excited to fight the bijuu on the occasion and
The raikage as the final struggle summoned the beast sealed within and fainted of chakra exhaustion.
The beast slowly grew out of the black ink like substance to full size bijuu. It was.......
