so aside from that, that following week was uneventful EXCEPT for the visit of Mikoto. she was having some trouble in her mathematics studies. So I helped her understand the course material and taught her few things ahead of current syllabus progress. Mikoto was surprisingly a very cheerful person like Sasuke before being exposed to the incident that mindfucked him. well, it had to come from somewhere after all Fugaku was dead as driftwood. I even question if Fugaku really was the father before knowing Mikoto. So Mikoto and I became friends easily well more like a study partner but I'll take what I can get.
Aside from that incident, I have finally completed the mini Rasengan bullet(MRB for short) though they were more of an incendiary round. due being compressed chakra spinning at high speed, the MRBs would pierce until the outer shell was intact but after explode like Deidara's arts. that was also a benefit though. the con, however, was that the MRB made a shrill sound. as long as I put some distance between myself and the target it would be alright.
But the thing I was most proud of was his progress on Sharingan genjutsu. I practiced with my clones as a target. as the experience would later be returned to me, I could find the flaw present in the produced genjutsu. This skyrocketed my progress. I also did not have to go find an unwilling test subject to practice genjutsu as well. But the most hateful part of this exercise was that I had to practice scary situations for the genjutsu. it's not like I did not practice a happy dream-like scenario but the nightmarish vision that would resurface with each clone being dispelling. It was not a pleasant experience but I had to undergo it so I could break out of genjutsu.
On the plus side, I also learned to apply mental energy allows the genjutsu to affect mindscape. that was an experience. that happened when I was too curious and experimented with mental energy with a genjutsu. and boy was that scary! the mental chakra directly invaded the clone's mind and began to rain havoc in his brain. If I was any later I would have to experience brain melting out of your ears. so I filed it out for later when I have some disposable targets and save myself of the pain.
On this topic of fuinjutsu, I have made some progress on Sharingan only fuinjutsu it required you to apply chakra through Sharingan like in a genjutsu and it made pseudo-gen-fuinjutsu. It was pretty easy after learning genjutsu all the other were just some ordinary fuinjutsu so I skipped that until I got more fuinjutsu material.
So, I have also mastered the jutsu I took a few days ago. and yes it also included Shunshin no jutsu. with the help of physical energy revitalizing my body and enhancing beyond that of a normal human, I can now leap a great distance. The disorientation was also solved once I awakened the third tomoe. I can now say I am so fast that only hirashin can top it. well in short distance at least hirashin still has the advantage of distance as shunshin was only a movement technique while hirashin was space-time traversing jutsu.

the Ino-Shika-Cho trio was already present in the class whom I saw playing shogi at their seat. I walked up to them and greeted them.
"hey, guys! good morning."
"oh! good morning Kyoshi. you are early today?" Chouza answered me while the remaining two just gave me nods too engrossed in the game.
" so shikaku, how is inoichi doing?" I asked even though I knew what the answer would be.
" Well he is doing better than a few days ago? " that mirrored in my mind.
no matter how much you try the Nara were too intelligent and lazy. the combination was scary enough without them being motivated but once they do they are unstoppable. I think the only reason they haven't taken over the world was how troublesome it was to them.
" that is to be expected after playing against you for so long. he must be quite experienced with your playing style. you do follow the same path most of the time you play with inoichi."
" you are right, I do play like that with inoichi maybe I should raise the difficulty" shikaku mused stroking his chin.
"oi oi!!! Kyoshi, don't encourage him. it is already hard as it is to beat him. do you think i'll survive even a minute against him" inoichi complained out loud?
"Well, you can" Kyoshi mysteriously said with a glint in his eyes.
At that, all three of them perked up. To know how to beat a Nara or at least give a good challenge in a shogi match would be epic.
" Really??? you know how to beat shikaku?" inoichi perked up and asked enthusiastically.
" Not exactly but last more than a minute or even an hour if you are lucky you might even win? that is not impossible." I was now even more secretive. now even shikaku was paying attention. him being Nara genius, the way to last against him would work against almost all of other Nara clansmen.
"Tell me then Kyoshi Kun. if it works I'll buy you lunch for a week." inoichi urged me even more.
" oh really??? then give me a promise then I will tell you."
"I promise, I promise" inoichi was now short of begging on his knees has used all of the methods to open my eyes. well, at least I got free lunch out of it.
"ok ok ill tell you all so listen carefully."
they closed in and straightened their ear.
" the way to beat shikaku is?" they closed in even more.
"The secret is" they were now even more impatient now.
" Just tell us" chouza and shikaku yelled out.
"Alright alright, no need to grump up." I pacified them and finally told the truth.
" The secret to beat shikaku is.........to not play at all"

"What the hell kind of secret is that?" inoichi screamed in frustration while shikaku was thoughtful.
'well someone gets it '
" well, I did tell you the way. so pay up. I expect something good in lunch." I harrumphed and went to my seat ignoring inoichi tears of regret.
"Hey hey, that's not fair. not fair at all" inoichi complained till Juckle the instructor entered the class.
and was ignored till then.
