Kapitel 82: The checkpoint

A clock was rapidly ticking inside Kevin's head. Despite being severely injured, it kept him going. Memories of that dreadful mass suicide were still fresh in his mind. He knew every minute was valuable. All their efforts would be in vain if they could not reach the Settler Camps on time. 

Shane and his group followed Kevin's lead as he marched down the desolate street. The Resistance fighters weren't infallible heroes, blessed by the Gods. They were just ordinary people who were willing to step out of their safety shells and fight for their future. Though the machines had taken over Technoria and destroyed the very foundations of the human world, a brave few held on to hope, refusing to accept their fate.
