For her the red keep somehow feels familiar and foreign at the same time, for a long time she dreaded the thought of coming back here but now these red hallways feel like home
While this place is filled with many painful memories like her mad goodfather, the death of Velaryon boy she come to love like her own son,etc but it is also filled with beautiful memories of her daughter, she gave birth to her little angel here, Rhaenys played in these hallways and this is where she became a Dragonrider
Now her daughter flew to the other side of the world on a dragon with Egg, while she knows that egg won't let anything happen to his sister but she can't help but worry, after the rebellion her daughter was only thing that kept her together and gave her a will to keep living
Now that Rhaenys has Lynix her daughter can just fly to anywhere in the world anytime she wants, at least with this no one can doubt Rhaenys, while there is no doubt her daughter has dragon blood but her looks are all dornish and with the rebellion many rumours were going around the city, with egg being the king no one dared say such things in the red keep but now that her daughter is a dragonrider no one can say anything
But being back in red keep she can't help but think about her husband, while her marriage was not based on love but over time she grew to love Rhaegar, even after all these years no one can take his place in her heart, at least she is not alone here her brother Oberyn and her niece Arianne is here with her, Doran didn't stay long with all of the dorne to look after, while it was difficult to face them at the start after all these years but over time they pulled through
Now as she was strolling the royal gardens with little Arya and her direwolf, Ser Brianne came to them "your grace it's time for small council meeting"
"Yes thank you Ser Brianne, lady Arya why don't you continue to walk Nymeria I have some boring grown up things to do"
While Arya wanted to come with her but she is can't take her, Egg already spoils the little wolf enough if Elia took her to small council this will make the lords uncomfortable
As she reaches the small council chambers she sees that all the members are already here except her good mother the queen regent, while Doran is upset that Egg made Rhaella Queen regent but Elia is more that satisfied with her position now
Egg gave her the job to handle all of the matters of 'Dracarys' products and trade, she is basically in charge of all the House Targaryen matters separate from the crown, while others might think that this is less important than the crown but she knows Egg gave her this position because he trusts her
As she looks around the table she can see all the members and advisors, the new master of trade that somehow lost a young bull's worth of weight in just a few days,it's been the talk of court for a while, Lord Seaworth the old lord who is close advisor to Master of laws Stannis Baratheon but was given a position of advisor in the small council by Egg among others and her brother Oberyn
While she was looking around Ghost the white direwolf came in the chambers and sat next to the main chair, seeing this everyone knew that queen regent was here
As everyone stood up her good mother came in and sat in her chair, ever since bonding with Rhaenix her good mother looks more and more young and full of life
"Lord Tyrion how is reconstruction of the city going ?" her good mother went straight to the point after everyone sat down
"Your grace while surveying the city sewers we noticed that while most of the city sewers are built properly but the area under fleebottom was made haphazardly and without much oversight, so the waste of the city just gets stuck there for long while only a small part goes through, this causes the whole city to smell and the living habits of the people in fleebottom doesn't help the situation, so we moved the people living there outside the city for a while so the workers and break the old structures and build a proper sewers there, at first we had trouble convincing the people to move but Lord Seaworth was a great help in this matter and the construction has finally started, but your grace it will take at least a year before the changes are complete"
"Great work Lord tyrion and Lord Seaworth, lord Varys any new songs we should now about"
"Yes your grace, I am sure you all will hear about this soon enough but few days ago two dragons paid a visit to the city of Braavos, the dragons broke the sword of the titan of Braavos and dropped it right in front Ironbank, the giant stone sword is still stuck there and the same day his grace visited the Ironbank, but I don't know why his grace went there is such a fashion as you can guess the whole city is still rattled by what happened" the spider said like he actually cares about the Ironbank
"Yes his grace sent me words about this, for the next five years the Ironbank will pay two million gold dragons to the crown every year, Lord tyrell you will soon hear from the Ironbank" Maester Aemon suddenly said
But the master of coin looked concerned "your grace is threatening the Ironbank really necessary, they already let go of the crown's debt and house Targaryen has already put 5 million gold dragons to the royal treasury, we don't need gold then why destory the crown's relationship with the Ironbank"

Everyone in was shocked by the sudden roar that was heard all across the city, Elia knows why Rhaella is so angry but the rest don't
"Yes your grace, I will properly deal with the Ironbank" the master of coin quickly said
"See to that Lord Tyrell, so is this everything or someone has something to add if not than this meeting is over" the queen regent said
The members just nodded and quickly left the room, then only Elia and Rhaella were left
"Your grace you know Egg's temper, he won't let the Ironbank bank go so easily, he is dealing with them"
Her good mother just sighed " I know it seems my temper is getting worse with age, and Daenerys being in Essos is not helping it , I should fly for a while to clear my head, why don't you join me"
"Ella I may have the Targaryen name but I don't have the your blood, I don't think Rhaenix would like me on his back"
"Rhaenix is a sweetheart he won't mind just come, let me show what it means to fly like a dragon"
