I woke up in that weird plain again, the sky was dark this time but water still wet my shoes as it flows off of the plain.
"Not again..." I muttered to myself.
"I thought I was finally done with these weird dreams!"
"Don't worry..it's just me." A voice said, revealing itself to be that teen from that night.
"Oh, you're the guy from that one night! You know..you never told me your name-" I said.
He sighed and looked at me with eyes that say "really? now?".
"Call me yu," he replied.
"Also," I continued.
"aren't you supposed to help me?"
"Well, I don't see you doing much."
"You don't need to see me do anything-" He replied.
"Ok, ok fine."
"Why am I here then?"
He took a good look at me, staring me directly in the eyes.
I stared back a bit awkwardly.
"You're going into the path of one of the failed timelines. Ayuna.."
I was confused when I heard him say this.
The only other person I heard talking about timelines was.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Listen, you're here to do something of great importance."
"I knew it!" I celebrated. Coming to this world wasn't just a freak coincidence, I was needed!
"Though..."
" With you're current mindset and all of your hidden trauma you're only destined for failure later on."
Yu continued.
"I've searched through every possible timeline even one where you turn evil."
"What-" I commented.
"An evil me?"
"Yes, and that's where you're heading-"
"With all your pent-up trauma and sudden flashbacks, all it takes is an outer influence."
"Im trauma free- I don't have a single-"
"There's no use lying-" Yu interrupted me.
"The whole reason you started this journey.. as early as you did was because of you're clinginess. Because you refused to let something go."
"Even though that reason became your first friend in this world."
"It will also be the reason you failed to save it."
I instantly knew he was talking about Zorua and I didn't have anything to say to that.
"I've been through your mind I see everything..even your suppressed memories.."
"You almost killed yourself for someone you met only a day ago- because they regretted dancing with you?"
"Now that's beyond pathet-"
"OK, I GET IT!" I shouted, Interrupting him.
He stares at me with a look of disgust and pity.
"Just tell me...what do I have to do?"
There was a moment of silence between the two of us before he finally spoke again.
"That, I can't help you with."
"Huh?"
"Trauma is something you need to fix on your own, simple instructions can't fix it..."
"If you want to get better, if you want to help this world," He turned away from me as if he couldn't stand the sight of me anymore.
"Then maybe you should start by wanting to help yourself-"
__ __ __ _ _
I woke up in my bed, bed soaked with sweat, my breathing was heavy and I couldn't stop it.
I held my head in frustration, holding back tears.
Why, why did they choose me? Someone as broken as me?
What would I know about fixing anything.....
sorry for the late chapter...again(T_T)
