...

As we were leaving the building, Felicity remarked that "you get used to the smell once you're in here for more than a few minutes." The aroma, on the other hand, tends to linger on your skin unless you wash your hair or take a shower... She wore a frown. Then, she gestured in the direction of the street that was immediately adjacent to the entrance. "To reach the Pokémon Center, you need only continue along that road. It is impossible to miss. There is a place for you all to stay directly in front of it, which is an inn."

Rob understood this to be a hint. He displayed the ridges and veins in his arms by crossing his arms over his chest and exposing them to the audience.

"So, how about we both go to the toilet and clean up tonight? And if we go out tomorrow, would you mind if we went to a restaurant or anywhere else in this town...? "asked Rob in a casual manner. Felicity's cheeks flushed, and she covered her mouth with her hand to stifle the giggles.

She said, "I have a few fights tomorrow," and she was right. "However, I am free to leave at seven o'clock in the evening. When that time comes, I should be finished. Since the opening of the brand-new cafe that is located close to the nearby Pokémon Mart, I have been itching to go there."

"So, it looks like we have a date. Then, let's say tomorrow at seven o'clock. I assure you that I will be wearing an outfit that is more appropriate for the occasion. He made sure to look directly into her eyes while he said, "Hopefully...," and then he grinned and said, "...I'll be able to see you without those cleaning clothes.""

A high-pitched giggling sound could be heard coming from Felicity. I was curious as to the actual age of the woman. Then I had the dawning realisation that I, too, was clueless regarding Rob's age. While I was watching him flirt with her, my mind kept going back to Alice. I recalled that she had mentioned that she was going to Azalea Town. I started to wonder whether or not I would be going there and whether or not I would ever see her again.

Still smiling and showing a hint of blush, Felicity responded with "okay." "I have to leave right now to assist in cleaning the gym in preparation for tomorrow." She looked up at me from below. "You are more than welcome to stop by tomorrow during the day to watch me compete. The Trainers I'm going up against have between three and six badges between them. It's possible that you'll pick up a thing or two about my strategy and the way that Gym battles typically go."

I gave a slight nod, but Rob had already spoken before I could say anything more. "Oh, he is going to be there! You should've seen him earlier. When he saw someone else riding a Pidgeot, he couldn't stop talking about how badly he wanted one of those for himself."

I gave him a suspicious look because of the lie he told. He showed a trace of discomfort.

"Pidgeot are reliable Pokémon. They are used more frequently than either Swellow or Staraptor. The majority of the time, I put mine to use for travelling "as Felicity put it. She turned her attention to June, who had been completely silent up until this point. I speculated that being exposed to so many Pokémon with large birds would pique her interest. "Torchic is a Pokémon with an inquisitive nature. Even if it evolves into a bird in the future, it will never be able to fly because it has no wings."

Felicity reached out and grabbed June's wings, holding them slightly elevated. "Its wings are powerful and substantial in weight. In a short time, the feathers will become more delicate and diminutive, while the muscles will expand and become more robust. When you notice this starting to happen, you should start plucking the larger feathers."

I indicated that I was paying attention to her by nodding my head. After giving me that recommendation, she looked at me and nodded her head in agreement. She turned her head to look at Rob. Her cheeks were beginning to redden once more.

"Seven," she asked in surprise. She was putting her hands behind her back and kicking the back of the other foot with the other foot.

Rob affirmed that there are seven. "I'll be right over to pick you up," he said.

After a short while of standing there, she walked backward and entered the gymnasium. She took one last look behind her and waved at Rob as she entered the building. He gave a return wave.

We watched her go inside and lock the doors after we had finished speaking. Another time, she gave Rob a wave through the glass. He gave a return wave.

"Hey Ed," said Rob. We made our way down the street that Felicity had mentioned to us as being the location of the Pokémon Center. The day had ended, and the night sky was filled with stars. The illumination provided by the streetlights was noticeable. The light emanating from within the buildings caused the majority of the windows to take on a yellow hue. The interiors of the buildings lacked light. It seemed to me that the city got its name from the way the colours blended together, which produced a hue that was somewhere between violet and lilac.

"Yeah?" I answered back.

Rob brought up the fact that the papers indicated that we would be staying in the same room.

In a hushed voice, I confirmed that "Yeah...they did say that." I had a hunch about the point he was going to make next.

If I were to bring Felicity into the room, what do you think your options would be? In the middle of his sentence, he looked up at the sky. He stopped walking. I kept an eye on him. It appeared as though he was engaged in reflective thought, similar to how he was when we were back at Route 30. He once more exuded an air of concern throughout the conversation.

"What do you think, Ed? Never mind."

I was perplexed by both his actions and his demeanour. "I have no problem going without you two. I don't want to be a distraction, so please excuse me. She gave off the impression that she liked you adequately "I said.

After a brief pause, Rob did not respond to my question. He did not alter his stance in any way. "Let's get our Pokémon healed up. We are going to train our Pokémon tomorrow. You need to get ready for Sunday as soon as possible."

He smiled and straightened his posture. "C'mon!" He raced ahead of me down the street as I walked. For once, I went along with it.

The Pokémon Center was also in the form of a dome, although it was significantly smaller than the Pokémon Gym. It was connected to a number of other, similarly sized domes by means of hallways. Above the entrance of the largest one were the words "POKEMON CENTER" written in red lettering. A cross-section of a human body appeared next to the words. The door leading into the building was widened, and a number of people were seen going in and out of it while carrying their Pokémon, most of which were bird Pokémon. A young boy with a bald spot on his head and a sparrow perched on his shoulder walked past us.
