Reborn in the Naruto world, the MC finds himself in the middle of the third shinobi world war.
Finding out that he is merely Gennin cannon fodder who failed his Jonin sensei exam and was sent to the Gennin corps and from there sent directly to the battlefield merely a month later.
Finding himself with only the three basic academy jutsu and meager chakra, Kazuo strives to change his fate before heading into a mission only a few hours later.
Finding himself and his team members ambushed by a cloud Gennin team that outnumbers them with four more members compared to his 3 man squad.
Dying at their hands, Kazuo finds himself face to face with death itself, telling him to give up however he doesn't and thus he finds himself back at the start of the day with some sort of gamer system.
Knowing how the future would cast out to be Kazuo starts planning.
The story revolves around Kazuo as he works hard and dies over and over again but never gives up.
Will Kazuo survive or will he remain an unknown shinobi with his name inscribed on the will of fire memorial stone?

The story will be quite slow-paced paced and he won't become op quickly.
There will be no romance at all.
Quite dark, especially with the descriptions of gore.

It's really well written. He takes advantage of the system and the time loop, not to the extent of maxing out all his abilities and becoming op but enough to create a believable character that's working as hard and smart as they can, with the time loop, exploiting loop holes or knowledge. He has no allegiance to anyone and firmly believes that he is alone and has no one else. That's my summary so far, so give it a read.

I'll start off by saying this story is pretty good and does focus a bit more on me actual brutality that a ninja world would have. A lot of the time the action and tactics are pretty solid that are easily better than half the other Naruto stories here. However, there is a rather noticeable problem with the main character. They are considered "smart", coming up with clever ideas. And to some extent that is true, they do have their moments. However, their actions are completely contradictory to their goals. The MC wants to avoid death and many brutal battles, ensuring his safety. And how does he go about doing that? By killing powerful ninjas, drastically standing out, and increasing his reputation, trying to seem like a genius. Predictably, this fails to ensure his safety, as NOW he's been promoted to a Chunin and isn't allowed to go back to the Leaf Village in war time. Who could've guessed that making people believe you're a genius, as well as killing a Jonin and announcing it to everyone would've done that... What the MC wants and what the author wants are the exact opposite. This is why despite being "smart" he makes obvious mistakes that take him further and further away from his goal. His foolishness has even caught the attention of Root. Where he showed off by reciting their hidden creed to them. Expecting them to believe that he just came up with it. He has been threatened with torture and having his mind read on more than one occasion. Again, the author and the MC are not in sync and that makes the story feel dysfunctional.
Man I haven't laughed this much reading a Naruto fanfic in so long I'm only 12 chapters in and I'm loving this story it very well written isnt another Chinese translation but a a rare original story which is a huge plus in my book. I can wait to see what the author has in store for this entertaining story they have created in the future for this fanfic.
Other than a few spelling error this story was just what I needed I haven’t found a decent webnovel fic in months till now. I really like the character and the situations he always ends up because of the jonin commander. At the rate he’s going with all of these death loop’s especially with how he basically kept killings himself to master the shushin jutsu he may very well end up like the Greed If Subaru from ReZero.
Congratulations Author, splendid arc/volume. Although, I dislike the type of archetype you portrayed through the MC; For the first time, I appreciate it, thanks to the subtlety sprinkled throughout. Thank you 😊
This is awesome—finally, a story with a protagonist who thinks, makes mistakes, solves them, has traumas, and suffers a lot. At last, a truly human protagonist. I also really liked the time-loop concept; I’ve been wanting to see a Naruto fanfiction with this theme for a long time
I have read all 11 chapters released until now and I like the direction the story is headed towards I just hope you don't stop updating. EVIL MC SUPREMACY

I simply don't like villains who let innocent people die in front of them, they are robots that only follow the plot because the author has no fucking idea how to write a story without leaving the canon.
Kazuo is a great MC, his ability is strongth but not OP, and the system is OK.Great novel .
It's a pretty enjoyable and lovely fanfic. The author's writing skills are pretty good, and the character is pretty great. all in all, i got nothing to complain about.
I personally think the mc ruined the entire story. his personality is shitty and there is nothing about him that is redeemable. even tho he is a leaf shinobi he killed another for no reason and he is a coward who if he knew he could run away would. only reason he doesn't if bc he knows it either will lead to a more danger or he'd be executed. the story itself is ok just ruined by the mc
