"A trap?" Cael supplied.

His wife tsked and shook her head. "An opportunity to find more about you while in the safety of his territory! But possibly a trap, too. This entire country is Dante's territory. He can outright order your arrest if he wants to."

This was something Cael knew well. But he had some aces in his sleeves, and no intentions to run away and hide. After all, no battles can be won that way.

"I will be careful," Cael promised, smiling. "I don't know how informed Dante is about me and vampires, but definitely not enough to prevent my escape if things go awry."

This conversation happened in the evening prior. Right now, Cael stepped into the tall doors of Dante's palace.

I picked up JoJo again. In the middle of Diamond is Unbreakable… I damn love all the mindfuckery this show uses, even if sometimes it makes little sense when you think about it twice.

Every fight there is like these first Naruto fights that were cool because of smart ninja thinking and not because “my jutsu is bigger than yours!”
