Kapitel 264: Tea with Dante, part 2

Despite his best effort, Cael couldn't entirely hide the outrage he felt from his effort. Thanks to all his practice in the past, he forced his fingers to stay still and not crush the teacup in his palm; but he couldn't stop his claws from appearing.

'Dante… you left Mimi for two hundred years and now have the gall to try to buy her from me?' Cael thought furiously. 'You knew where she was! If you really wanted her, you could've returned dozens of times to her! No… You don't care about Mimi, are you? Dante, you just want to make me lose my calm and test my affection for her!'

The realization calmed Cael down significantly. Although Dante already saw Cael's outburst, Cael thought he could use it. Despite his inner cool, he kept acting like he was barely containing his rage.
