The world had fallen...
Like meteors wiping out the dinosaurs, an Angel descended from a tear in the sky, unleashing a flood of destruction that ravaged humanity.
Vielat, the imperial city, was the first to fall. Its people slaughtered by the dozen, its livestock reduced to mincemeat, and its grand architecture turned to dust.
In the aftermath of the Angel's devastation, humanity began to rebuild, taking refuge in underground shelters and abandoned towns. Though the world slowly rose from the ashes, one man refused to move on.
The Angels, now known as the Monarchs, were responsible for the death of his family and the destruction of everything he once held dear. The rest of the world may have accepted defeat, but he had not. Swearing vengeance, he vowed to end the Monarchs' reign, even if it cost him his life.

Hi guys, author here dropping a review of my work. While this is my most recent book and one I've thought about making for a long time, i can admit it does start slow. I believe in fleshing out the characters and introducing newer elements into the story in bits to not overwhelm the story or the readers. However, when it comes to its world and characters I can definitely say you're in for a ride, one you won't regret in the slightest. Happy reading, kind traveler.
