Kapitel 183: An account of evil

Even though it has only been nearly two years, the royal academia has started to flourish. The great Coliseum of Ishad had its stains of the past removed, but the people still remembered what had happened behind those walls. Still, because of the king's promise of knighthood upon completion of the course, students came.

One such student was Vanden Finspring; a Caladrian. He had no interest in swords and sorcery; he was more aligned with philosophy. And there was one thing that piqued his curiosity.

Why evil exists?

He was in the library. Among the scrolls, parchments, and books that were piled in the place, he had found something interesting.

It was a black book with rotting corners, and it had no name. It was not even written in the common tongue. But what caught his attention was the heptagram that looked strikingly similar to the cross of the five gods. "This is a book of old gods," Vanden thought. He went and searched for a dictionary to translate that thing.
