Although Caroline had guessed that Eddison liked her, it was merely just a speculation.

After hearing his confession, she could not help but stare at him in shock.

Before she could react, he leaned his forehead against hers and said, "Honey, I know we're married and all, but are you willing to truly fall in love with me?"

Caroline's entire body stiffened at their close proximity. Was this his method of making her not refuse him?

The intense eye contact was making her feel hot and bothered, she had no idea how to calm herself down. 

Caroline hurriedly lowered her gaze to dodge the heated look pouring out of his eyes.

Noticing that, Eddison started to frown.

Caroline was guarding her heart too strongly. After using such a close-range tactic, this woman was still able to see through his strategy!
