Kapitel 10: The Dragon Queen

"Grr..." A groan escaped from his mouth as he opened his newly brilliant purple eyes. Other than his eyes and silver at his hair tips, there was no physical change.

"Wake, my Lord."

Confusion began to cloud his mind, but it was only for a second as all of a sudden, he felt immense magical power absorbing into his very soul. It can feel it changing him, removing all limits, broadening the Mind-Body-Soul.

'It's like I'm being reborn... No, this is something beyond that!'

The feeling made him shudder as he sat up and looked around. He found himself back in his bedroom. Just as he turned his head, he froze. Sitting on his bed, facing away from him, was a beautiful girl. No, scratch that, the word beautiful even felt like an insult. The word itself seemed too simple to describe her. She had long silver hair and pale skin. Her eyes were wide and lilac. Her lips were full and red. And she wore a dress that showed off her slim legs, chest, and stomach. There wasn't one part of her body that didn't catch his attention. Even more so because she was smiling, showing perfectly white teeth.

She stood up from her chair and approached him, looking down at him. "You've woken, my lord!" She said, sounding delighted.

Now looking closer, he could see she was the same age as him, and all of a sudden, realization struck his mind.

'W-wait... Is this woman Dragon Queen from Game of Thrones?' Too bad he neither read nor watched Game of Thrones to know her name. But he knew who she was on the cover posters.

"Daenerys?" Kaida unconsciously murmured, and seeing her nodding her head, a sudden feeling of love and happiness invaded his mind. He knew he had made the right choice.

If he was honest, he didn't have much of a choice since there was no summary of characters he could choose, and what grabbed his attention was her title, 'Queen of Dragon.' Since he is now considered Dragonlord, he thought nothing of it and chose her, but seeing her now, he realized he had hit a gold mine!

But before he could marvel more at her beauty, the girl parted her cherry lips and said, "What do I call you, my lord?"

"I am Kaida. What should i call you then, your highness?" Kaida asked with an awkward smile while trying to hide the fact he was flustered by her words. He still couldn't believe how lucky he was to meet such beauty here in the world, but it would take time until he'd get used to her presence. For now, he'll keep his thoughts to himself.

"Oh, you can just call me Daenerys or Dany." She giggled as she placed a hand on her cheek and stared at him.

He chuckled, scratching the back of his neck. "I guess... I am Kaida, or you can call me Kai for short." He said with a smile, though he sounded rather stiff compared to how he normally spoke.

She giggled happily at that and placed a hand covering her luscious lips elegantly, "I know; you've already introduced yourself," she said, and turning around, she offered her hand. "Let me greet you again. It is very nice to meet you, Kai. I am Dany!"

He stared at her hand, then her face, and finally took her hand. It was soft yet firm. Hers enveloped his fingers as they shook. "Hahah... Very nice to meet you too."

His heart jumped inside his chest, hearing her voice, but before he could say anything, a massive egg appeared on his lap.

"Hm? Uh..." He exclaimed as he looked at it. Then, he remembered it was a gift from the system, so he quickly stood up, placing it carefully in his inventory.

"Congratulations, Kai. It seems you have gotten yourself a powerful egg," Dany said with a warm smile as she walked out of his room.

Her answer made him tilt his head curiously, "How did you know it was powerful?"

Dany shrugged her shoulders gracefully. "I was born with a strong affinity towards dragons. I can say the draconic magic that egg was realizing, it is the most powerful dragon I have ever met."

Her answer both made him shiver in excitement but also feel slightly tremble with fear.

"Wait! Can anyone else sense the egg? Though it was only out for a second, nobody could sense it right, right?" Kaid hurriedly asked, hoping that Succubus and that fallen angel wouldn't find his home.

"Well, yes, anyone can sense the egg if they have Valyarian blood or have a strong affinity towards it. I suggest creating a bond with the egg immediately, the sooner the bond is placed, the more powerful it will grow. Through the bond, you tell the dragon to stop emitting such a strong dragon aura."

The last thing he needed was powerful enemies showing up at his doorstep. So he quickly brought out the egg, listening to her.

Placing his hand over the massive black dragon egg, he closed his eyes, willing to place a bond with the dragon inside. When he opened his eyes again, the egg was glowing red.

"That's good. Now, let's make the bond stronger. Slice your palms, and place it over the egg. The egg should have no problem absorbing your blood to make the bond stronger, as well as let your access magic through the bond." Kaida nodded with a smile as he summoned a dagger.

Once he was ready to do as she told him, Kaida slashed his palm with the dagger, allowing some of his blood to fall onto the egg. He felt a strange feeling in the bottom of his stomach. As if there was a small part of him inside the egg, looking out of it. It didn't hurt, nor did it feel uncomfortable. It was actually rather soothing and relaxing.

"Good, now, don't move for a while. Just relax, and enjoy the bonding experience."

With a nod, he remained as he was, enjoying the moment.

"Ah... Ahh..." His mind started to wander as he thought about the woman he had seen earlier. Her body, her face, her smile; everything about her caught his eye and drew him into her spell. She truly was a goddess.

'Why am I thinking about her like this?'

'Maybe it's because she was beautiful, or maybe it's because she was the first person who paid any attention to me.'

"Hmm?" Kaida suddenly opened his eyes, and as soon as his eyes opened, a sudden rush of heat and light overwhelmed his body and mind. The sensation was similar to touching the Grace or when he drank a sip of his Tear Flask.

The light and heat were gradually replaced by a feeling of warmth and comfort, almost like being hugged by a large friend. And as for the heat and light, it felt as if something was warming and cooling his body.

A warm feeling spread throughout Kaida's entire body and soul as his consciousness started to fade. Before long, Kaida lost all awareness of his surroundings. He could still see, hear, and feel things around him, but he wasn't aware of anything anymore. He could only be grateful that the feeling wasn't painful in any way. Soon enough, the last thing he saw was two red orbs staring back at him. But instead of fear, he saw warmth and happiness as he gazed back at the red orbs.

Just as he was back to the 'real' world, he was the grinning face of Dany. But before he could ask anything, she pulled herself closer, pressing her body against his. "Congratulations, Kai. You have gotten the Black Dred, Balerion as your companion!"

"O-Oh, I s-see. Thanks, Daenerys." Kaida's heart raced, and his blood was boiling. He then pulled his hand away, trying to calm his breathing.

She grinned, "Yes, and you can call me by my name, Dany. It makes me happy."

"S-Sorry." Kaida apologized then suddenly, she placed her hand on her cheek.

"Don't worry, Kai."

What Kaido was currently feeling couldn't even be placed into words, and if he could place them into worlds, he would become a babbling, bumbling band of baboons!

He was excited, anxious, nervous, flustered, and ready to explode. He was so happy. He had just made his first friend, and she was so pretty. He wanted to hold her hands, hug her tight, kiss her lips, touch her skin, smell her hair, taste her tongue, and feel her body. He wanted to do it all at the same time. He was so close to doing it all.

But then, he remembered, "... You can sense my emotions, can't you, Daenerys?"

The teasing smile on Dany was more or less confirmed, which made his entire face burn red.

"Yeah. We both share a bond, which lets us not only share our magic, know our location, but also sense each other's emotions~" She teased Kaida with a wink.

"Ugh...!" Kaida gritted his teeth and cutely glared at her. "You're such a tease."

"Hahaha..." She giggled as she playfully poked him on his chest. "I am just playing with you."

"I know," Kaida said as he rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I know I am being played, Dany."

"I guess you can call me by my name now."

"..." Kaida finally sighed and turned his head, giving a 'hump'

"You're blushing, aren't you? How adorable~" Dany giggled happily while rubbing his cheek with her fingers.

"..."

"Now, now, no need for violence." She said with a gentle laugh, and Kaida's heart skipped a beat. Causing her to laugh even more happily as she patted Kaida's cheek, making him blush harder.

"I'm sorry for teasing you too much." She said while placing a hand on his cheek as if she was trying to stop a fire. "I know you're not used to this kind of thing yet."

"Oh... Well... I guess I am... I mean, It's been a long time since I had any interaction with beautiful girls... I'm glad I didn't get you pregnant or anything. I wouldn't want that," he jokingly said, as he tried to hide his embarrassment as he spoke. But Dany grabbed his cheeks, making him look straight at her as her hand gently caressed his face.

"I am honored that you think that I am beautiful. I am also glad you aren't afraid. I will do my best to make sure you'll always have the courage to do what you want to do."

"Thanks, I guess..." Kaida said with a sigh as he knew even without reading his mind, his looks and emotions were like an open book to anyone.

Dany giggled and placed her hand on top of Kaida's head as she leaned in to whisper in his ear. "You can tell me what you are feeling if you want. I can even help you deal with your little dragon~"
