"You think to compare us? Our family had agreed to this arranged marriage," A snide laugh. "All the eligible males in the House had fought and died for me but I chose you, Gabriel. Our genes will create the most powerful Heir of Cups in History." Reinesse spat. "That girl is nothing, she is just a mere human compared to me."

My body tensed as heat flushed through my body.

I was really, really starting to hate Reinesse.

"Gabriel do you need assistance?" I want to knock this bitch out. "If you can't, I'll do it."

"Don't waste your time--" Gabriel whispered. "She didn't know about you and if she did, Acqua Manor will be a battleground."

I shook my head as if to clear it before turning my focus back on Reinesse.
