Cassandra Reid has never found a fortune teller on Earth that could read her future. She always gets the same cards got over and over again from the different tarot readers she approached.
High Priestess and the Four Knights. Knight of Pentacles. Knight of Swords. Knight of Wands. Knight of Cups. And the last one? The ominous Death Card. Every fortune teller has no idea what they meant and they have completely given up on her fate. Even she, herself, has given up.
Until one of the Knights showed up.
And tried to kill her.

"Why are you protecting me anyway?" I swallowed a lump forming in my throat. "What's in it for you?"
"Yeah, Cass. I ask myself every day why I am doing this too. Before I sleep and the first thing that comes to my mind the moment I wake up? It's you." His gaze jerked up and clashed with mine, confusion darkening those gorgeous irises. "I'm doing things I never even wanted to do in the first place. Like messing up my mission as the heir of the House of Cups."
"I don't want to be indebted to you! I don't want you to get hurt while you kept me safe."
The more I spoke, the more Gabriel's pupils narrowed.
"Do you know why I'm doing this?" Gabriel chuckled without humor as he cupped my chin, forcing my face to his. "Because I loathe it when you are hanging out with some other guy. Someone who isn't me."
He pulled back and studied my face before shaking his head. "I want to kill them myself. There's a dark thought in my mind that says you are mine to own. And you are mine to kill when that time comes where I have to."
Gabriel's grip tightened and he leaned down, placing us nose to nose, his choppy breath traipsing over my lips. "You like taunting me by flirting with other guys too, do you? Well, guess what? It works. I can't fucking get you out of my mind."
He released me long enough to slam a fist into the wall just beside my temple. "The first kiss was a goddamn mistake. It was supposed to purge you from my thought, make me stop wondering what you taste like."

This character is already wonderfully written. I love this type of genre already, fantasy novels and the author weaving Greek mythology its quite a dream come true to explore! 😊
Alright, let me start this off by I love the introduction to the story. It tells you this will be centered around mystical readings while also holding romance whether one filled with beauty or hardship. Nevertheless, the way you curtly describe the scene is well done. I applaud that aspect. Not to mention, the use of emotion is also good. Keep up the good work and have faith in your story. P.S: I hope Cassandra is thicc.
What a read. Magic? Knights? Love? Fern vibes with it and Fern vibes with it well. This book's premise is unique and refreshing, and the tarot card vibe is something that I don't understand, but click with very well. Cassandra Syndrome's strengths far overshadow what weaknesses it has, delivering its reader a smooth ride into the journey of futures and prophecies. Real Cool.

I love this story so much! It perfectly blends different mythologies together in a way that is captivating and leaves you longing for more. I’m so excited to see what’s in store for us readers!
What is there to not like about this book. The story is flawlessly written, the characters are well made, the world is descrived in a way in which it is easy to imagine. I can't think of a better way to portray a fantasy romance than this one. A very fine read.

I enjoy a lot of things about this book. It's definitely entertaining and since I barely have any knowledge of Greek Mythology, this is a fun intro to it. My only problem with the book is the update schedule but it's understandable too since the authors don't just do this for a living. I'd appreciate a consistent updating schedule even if it is just a chapter per day. No hard feelings though! I really appreciate the work put in the novel so far!

Je suis contente d'avoir lue cette histoire avec google chrome qui m'a tout traduit en français, j'apprécie vraiment l'histoire même si je n'ai pas le temps de commenter à chaque chapitre. Je recommande aux lecteurs de lire les aventures de cassandra!

Tarot cards weaving with Greek mythology into a book. Author, you are so awesome. I love Greek mythology, I love tarot cards still I can't read them to save my life. I love the harem you have put into the book. Gabriel is oozing with sexiness like Oh my god! Lynsander is so fucking sweet. The other two I'm not sure about yet. Keep up the awesome work Author. I will try to send you power stones when I get them back. The gifts will have to wait a while until I am employed again. I might go back and re-read the book again. It's so good.
