Kapitel 58: Ch 58: Easy to Blame - part 1

Lisa was the only one left in the cafe after Rumin left. He had handed Lisa the key before he went out so she would not get in trouble.

He was the only one who treated Lisa well, but she was unsure how long this would last.

It was time for her to head upstairs and relax, and she was not expecting company today.

That's why Lisa's heart skipped a few beats when a pair of arms caught her against the door. She opened her mouth but closed it quickly so as not to make a sound.

"Did the manager leave you to close the store for her? I asked her to treat you well, not assign meaningless tasks. It looks like I'll need to talk with her."

Emma sounded pissed off, and Lisa had no desire to ignite her rage or to mellow it out. She was not going to bring the situation on herself.

"What should I do with this key? Do I need to deliver it to the manager? I don't know where she lives."

Lisa asked Emma, but the older female held her hand out silently.
