No one stopped Julie or even came to Lisa's help when she was being cornered.
It was too early in the morning for the shop to get any traffic, so Lisa could not count on a customer to come and save her either.
With a long sigh, lamenting her fate, Lisa decided to face the female in front of her.
"I am sorry, but can I help you with anything?"
Lisa kept her voice neutral, but there was just a slight shake in her voice. She noticed Julie's fists shaking and alternating between claws and her regular hands.
A single swipe of that claw would have been enough to injure Lisa seriously.
"Look at you! Why are you trying to act all innocent now? You tattled to Alpha Rose about us, right? Did you tell her that we bullied you? Why did you lie?"
Julie was cornering Lisa, and it made Lisa's heart skip more beats than she could count. When Julie stepped back, Lisa picked up the glass on the table.
