Arthur arrived at the fortified mansion of the local Lord, it was quite a huge mansion built from the same stone blocks as the great walls that defend the whole city and federation.
Overall it was a very nice mansion that followed the same dwarthen principle of defence in deep prioritising defence ability over looks and efficiency, it was different from the conventional mansion that you see in the mainland due to its dwarthen feel.
He knocked on the thick wooden doors which were reinforced with metal strips across the door making the over all weight of the door extremely heavy.
The door creaked whilst it was opened by 2 sweaty red-faced dwarths which looked like they're been sprinting at full speed for a few hours.
"Gwarh" the dwarths groaned still pushing the heavy door to a good angle so that Arthur could fit through.
"Thanks" Arthur said after their hard work giving them each a silver coin for their efforts.
Word had already gotten to the kitchen of the Princes arrival. Immediately the kitten begun preparing an dinner for the Prince, a so called 'snack before entering the stars' or the old way the dwarths called it 'sunch' which mainly consists of very light foods like soup or boiled vegetables never meat, when asking Dwarths about it they say 'its tradition' or 'its to ward off bad spirits that come to take your soul to feed on not allowing your soul to enter the heavens' at least the old dwarths got a reason though most young dwarths have forgotten.
Entering the small dining room he was quickly served almost after sitting down. What he was served was an old dish said to be made to calm the dwarthen king from his rage, it was a simple meal made from 4 types of vegetables slowly boiled in honey making for quite a luxurious meal.
Arthur didn't spend much time enjoying the meal as he was already tired from walking around town and the nose stiffening air of the Engineering center was the cherry on top, to top off his tiredness.
After finishing Arthur moved straight to his room, after all it was nearly midnight and he was waking up in 6 hours for the last day where he would catch up loose ends and final jobs that he needed to do as part of his Royal duties.
But before catching the stars, he pulled out a ratty looking book, it was his diary, a gift from one of the council members. Ratty or not is was still a place where he would write his findings and tick or cross completed of failed projects enacted by him or the council.
Opening the ratty diary the pages crusted from the time he spilled his drink whilst writing in it. A page fell out of the ratty diary it was a black and white picture created by a mage, it was an old photo, Arthur and the council members, on the back it reads in fancy handwriting:
"6th winter NMC
Completion of the Saudra aqueducts"
It was the first project done for the capital and his main domain, the project was made to supply the capital with readily available water from the Karpata Mountains, the capital of the Dwarths.
Putting back the photograph he picked up the pen that was laying on the table and proceeded to write things relating to today's day. It was very short what he wrote, only a few words and a small doodle of the angry old dwarth which was quite detailed despite its small size (not that I'm judging ;) ).
Time flew fast whilst making the doodle, before he knew it the clock struck midnight.
'Faaark there goes my sleep' he said inwardly before laying in bed only taking off his cloak and leather shoes.

"CALL THE BELLS!!" a man wearing a helmet with a green cloth tied around it, as a wave of crude arrows engulfed the great walls and a single wave of stone boulders.
"ARGGH DER DEMANS FREE FIRUE!" a man with a plume (feathers on his helmet to signify army rank) on his helmet shouted, whilst his face was covered in blood. His blood?, his allies? or his enemy's?
"Wheres der heavy?" he yelled at the nearest man he saw.
"they're being transported as we speak" the young Demi-Human replied who wore light chain mail with a helmet which had a green cloth tied around it.
"Run and help them. Now!" he yelled, only being inches away from his chin on his toes.
"FEEEU FEEU" the sound of arrows and boulders flying in the sky.
"BASH" a part of the wall came tumbling down crushing a few men bellow.
"Der walls! Where are the combat engineers?!"
8 men came carrying a large brick to repair the walls that came down.
"OGRREEES!"
"BALLISTAAAS AIM AT THE OGREES"
