# STRANGEBEAST
Yu Chi transmigrated to a world covered with savage, barren lands, where more than 10,000 races fought to ascend to the top. He began his life in this world in imprisonment.
While the others had completely forgotten about his existence, he took out a bamboo stick that he had been carrying with him since his previous life.
The souls of ancient divine beasts could be found in various savage lands and rivers.
His bamboo stick could communicate with these ancient souls.
When he fished at the Death Sea of Hades, he got the voice of Naga Siren.
When he fished at the Ice River of Skeletons, he received the attack power of Blobfish.
When he fished at the Lake of Grotto-Heaven, he obtained the golden eyes of the Five-Talon Divine Dragon.
When he fished at the Cliff of Hanging Candles, he acquired the fire of the Nine-Tailed White Fox.
In the blink of an eye, millions of years had passed. Deities and pet beasts from various corners of the world came to congratulate Yu Chi on his wedding.
A prominent figure couldn’t help but ask, “Why are you so terrifying?”
As Yu Chi stared at his gorgeous wife, the memories of him fighting millions of devils in the Underworld flashed in his mind.
He then smiled and replied, “There’s nothing I can boast about. I was just lucky.”

Schreiben Sie eine Rezensionbest in this new batch of novels mc gets stronger by fishing ancient beasts isnt complete idiot maybe its time to go back to simple ssystem novels like this it probably isnt anything new, but i enjoyed reading this
Another the so called go stromg quietly haha But every chapter he will intervene in conflict that he can avoid in the first place Guys you know the reason why would he intervene in that conflict well just like the other dog brain chinese authors the mc here is thirsty about girls its like he havent seen any girl in his life Chinese authors really doesnt learn
This book is the best from this trail read, hope it gets selected, webnovel you are doing a good work just select some more good novels like this.
The MC gets extremely emotional while fishing. Like, he will be pulling one up while yelling "I can't be a man if I don't get this fish!" "Either this fish dies or I die!" "I won't loose!" It gets weird. That's what I liked about the novel. Everything else sucked. Just endless "hiding my true cultivation" nonsense.
This is just another trash novel. It's one of those stories written by authors who want to make quick cash. There is a lack of common sense, quick tempered MC , dimwits of other characters among other other features of trash novels. Plus it has one thing I truely hate,a combination of technology in martial world.
foe the first few chapters it was a decent red so far, but then in chapter 18 the author is tarting to b.s. his way to convince the readers that mc is just normal tier and not op yet. author is looking for ways to nerf mc. at stats 400 he can already massacre c+ like they are insects, but then came the author trying to nerf mc saying mc still at peak body cultivation at the 1000 stats when he is at 5000+. but we have the c+ croc monster saying no martial artist could ever be that strong, not even the strongest in history since martial arts are now outdated because they can't strengthen beyond c rank. anyway up to you guys to read this... I just hate it when author pull this kind of b.s.
Spoiler enthüllenI didn't see harem tag. It needs harem tag. The writing is lacking in depth, all of it feeling rather shallow. It's okay for casual reading. I personally only read this when it's my 24 hour free read.
So, he was a virgin wizard for millions of years 😂.... huh . . . . . . . . . . .. . . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . . . ... . . . .. . . .
Spoiler enthüllenAn actually decent novel. Although the MC is your run of the mill slightly unhinged Chinese protagonist, I think it works well and complements the plot so far. He's not offensively bad, I don't cringe at him or his decisions but instead find myself in agreement with his decisions most of the time, as of right now his gimmick is something like "in spite of his unconventional rationality, his decisions do end up paying off to varying extents" or something along those lines. For example, he had no reason to fight the sea beasts other than entertainment but that ended up working in his favour as "training". It's a teeny bit forced right now but I don't really mind, stuff like this could end up being an entertaining gimmick if executed properly, it'd much rather have his slightly unconventional thought process stay than him just completely turning bland. We've got some standard system tropes, I'm not sure if he can lose his fishing rod or not but even if he could, I doubt it'd happen for real, this is (in spite of the usual dark Chinese undertones) a relatively laid back novel after all. The whole premise while not very original isn't completely uninspired, it's quite alright and makes for some satisfying progression. This coupled with the protagonist's inconsistently eccentric personality could make for some entertaining shenanigans in the future but we'll have to wait and see. At the end of the day this is just a respectable novel with a relatively original premise, world and cheat. As long as the protagonist doesn't get bland or the plot repetitive, this'd be my cup of tea. I hope this gets picked. 3.5/5
Surprisingly I liked this.(At chapter 40) The main character actually has some characteristics to him, as characters should, unlike let’s say the third ‘I get 10,000 fold return from my disciples’ ripoff that I have been reading recently. The story background though is basically the same as the others: generic with small differences from the others. (So far atleast) No cringe worthy face slapping. Just, I like it. Give it a try.
First something like a disclaimer. The "World Background" is far less than the given 5/5 but the book does not need it. At least at my current chapter it does well. It is one of the very few "different" web novels out there and I like it very much. You could say it is a simple story about a simple man. Or you could say it is a story which is fun to read. Both would be true. Good book (so far)!
I really enjoyed reading this novel, even tho their are some filler chapters which i hate. There is harem which i usually don’ t read but it’s not heavily focused Things u shou expect when u read this are.. -Harem (as of now there are mainly three female leads, there probably will be more tho) -fast cultivation(relative to other cultivators, but still very fast for readers) insane/ fighter maniac mc (he get calmer when he get stronger) OP cheat(this cheat is my favorite female lead) Status: 536 (i read the raw novel)
Spoiler enthüllenIm only making this review to make it 4.0 so it gets picked but it is the best out of all the trial picks
All I could say after reading up to chapter 170 is that, MC is too biased towards females. The number of females he has killed compared to males is 1:100 or 1:1000.
This was a surprisingly good read. (read ~380 chapters rn) I thought this was gonna be a generic "hide my OP power for no reason" kinda read but it gets really interesting as the story goes on. The whole "tame beasts" concept of the novel is over around chapter 50 and he leaves to a MUCH larger world. I'm not really a fan of modern settings but it's not there in the later parts of the novel since the "human race" that the MC spends the first part of the story is like an insignificant spec compared to the larger world. The MC is a battle maniac but the reason why is explained later along with the reason his system is the way it is. Everything is slowly being explained and the MC goes from over the top kinda hot-headed to more mellow and go with the flow as his power slowly reaches the peak of the world. Read about 100 chaps before deciding if this is for you or not
A novel where you need to turn off the brain by 100%. Works I read 111 chapters of the novel. 2.2/5
It didn't take long for this to become tedious. MC has what is effectively a "sign-in" system, except instead of just getting stuff he fights a fish with a difficulty rating system that he ignores and a reward system that makes him problematically OP within the first dozen chapters. There's a lot of cringe desperately trying to pass as cool; it's basically an interesting premise with some potential, ruined by execution.
Yeah, time sure does fly. It was a couple million years ago, but feels just like yesterday that I saw the first multicellular organism coming out of the primordial ocean. I almost stepped on it. Luckily I avoided it and now we have life on Earth. I have to say, the Chinese sure goes back a long way, just like me. 😕
