Kapitel 74: Inner World

"This place again?" 

Once again, Conrad had found himself in the desolated city of ruin, probably for the third time now. 

The patches of the sky he could see still bled red, the crumbling buildings stretched out infinitely, and the smell of decay was still just as pungent as the last two times. The only difference now was that the flames were even more intense, which illuminated the place with an unsettling orange glow. 

The smokey clouds made it even harder to see the blood-red sky. And the shadowy creature that always kicked him out was standing a few feet from him, now looking exactly like Connie, sort of. 

His name was Devil. 

"What is this place anyway?"
